New Blog: Sounder At Heart for Seattle Sounders Fans!

Hey, the Colts have a game this week!

With all the Anthony McFarland yapping and the bye week, I think we've all forgotten that the Colts have a game this week!

The opponent is the Washington Redskins, who have dropped 2 straight. Last week, they gave Tennessee their first win of the season. The Redskins MUST win this game against the Colts, or their season is over. They know it. The fans know it. Skin Patrol over at Hogs Haven knows it.

Skin Patrol and I will do some cross-blogging stuff up to Sunday. I also encourage you to check out another Redskins blog: The Curly R.

I won't deny it.
2-5 heading into the bye week is miles away from 3-4. We play a defensively strong Cowboys team --that's already decisively beat us-- after the bye, making 2-6 a real possibility.

We have to win this game. Hopefully that will translate into our guys playing emotionally though we do have to worry about some very serious injury concerns.

Keep on the sunny side of life
Redskins fans are very near to the 'moral victory' part of the season.  You know, that part when they stop Peyton once and get one long drive at the end of the game.

I certainly don't miss those days of being a Colts fan where the 1 win in a 1-15 season was a cause to celebrate, and those close losses were moral victories. I think the Skins will play us tough. Portis is a hell of a back and even with Booger we still have to prove ourselves on teh run defense.

I have been waiting
two weeks for a Colts game.  (long story, WSBT tv in south bend aired the bears game instead of the colts game before the bye week).

Every game this season has been hard fought, for 60 minutes.  Who doesn't wanna watch football like this?

(although I wouldn't mind them to blow out somebody... just sayin)

Go Colts!
