Week Seventeen: Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts

Location: RCA Dome  Indianapolis, IN

Kick-off time: 4:15 pm EST

Broadcast: CBS

Key injuries: Bob Sanders is still not playing. TE Dallas Clark is expected to play.

Marlin Jackson and Antoine Bethea will start at the two safety positions. If the Colts win this game, and Baltimore loses to Buffalo, the Colts will get the second seed and receive a first round bye. It's unlikely, seeing as Buffalo is playing for nothing. But, who knows. The main thing is the Colts need to play better and win this game at home against a Dolphins team playing for next year.

GO Colts!!!
I will only be blogging this game in spirit, because I have to work. Although,  I do see a big game from our WR. Dolphins secondary(especially the safeties) are young and inexperienced. And, we all know what 18 does to youth and inexperience.

Around the League
Ravens are up 9 to 7 on the Bills. Losman just threw a 40 yard touchdown pass. Chargers are up on Arizona.

The key to beating the Ravens is winning the turnover battle. They are 40-0 under Brian Billick when they have a 2+ turnover ratio in their favor. They are 8-40 when they have a negative turnover ratio.

The Colts have nothing
The Chiefs will be running all over the Colts come next week. Sorry but thats the way it has to be.

Hey
we are playing the Jets, not the Chiefs. Your team will be facing the New England Patriots.

Shit, I was wrong
Why are we playing the Chiefs. We were supposed to play the damn Jets. I would much rather take my chances with the Jets, who we have already beaten in New York.

Denver
Had Denver beaten the 49ers, they would be the 5th seed and NY the sixth. However, since Denver lost, the Jets are the 5th seed and KC gets in as the 6th.

Thus, Indy plays KC.
