Ben Roethlisberger injured

As reported all across every sports network, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was injured in Pittsburgh today while driving his motocycle without a helmet. He collided with another vehicle and hit the vehicle's windshield with his head. Again, he was not wearing a helmet.

He was taken to a local hospital and is in serious but stable condition.

As of this post, he is in the O.R. undergoing surgery.

I can't understand for the life of me how pro athletes like Roethlisberger who have everything going for them can be that stupid. I mean riding a motorcycle is dangerous enough, but to ride without a helmet is absolutely moronic. Just can't understand what they're thinking, they must really think they're superhuman, I don't know.
