NFL Network
I know a lot of Colts fans outside of Indy will be screwed Thanksgiving when the Colts play on the NFL Network. A lot of resturant/bars wont be open sue to the holiday, and unless you have Dish, or can pick up the NBC Channel 13 out of Indy, you are screwed. This puts fans out in Lafayette, Terre Haute, Evansville, etc.
I called to complain to my cable company Time Warner cable about no NFL Network, and they gave me a smart assed remark about how it is only one game. I pretty much asked about other channels that had been added, and how there is no way they serve customers better than the NFL or Big Ten Networks. They pretty much said they were not going to budge on it anytime soon.
In Peter Kings MMQB today, he listed some figures from the NFL and Jerry Jones where the NFL has made attempts to sweeten the pot for comcast and TWC, adding extra local advertising during peak hours and during games, and the cable companies still wont buge.
So Dish TV is being installed tomorrow, and Time Warner is getting my Cable box shoved sideways right up their ass.
I got more channels, the NFL and Big 10 networks, and Im still going to save about 25 bucks a month.
Anyone else have any luck?

Well...
I wish the cable companies would just suck it up and put it on normal cable packages.
The thing about it is though, there are only 8 games that you're not watching. If it wasn't the only game on TV, how many people would be upset that they missed a Colts vs Falcons game outside of Atlanta and Indy. How many of those people are going to be mad enough to make a change?
I made the change
I liked it...
I watched everything on that channel..replays, stats programs, summer camp etc. It was great when I had it but refuse to pay extra -- Comcast won't let you add only one channel, u have to go up a tier. It's bullsh*t..as if they don't make enough money now, having had the market cornered for years...
canadian coverage
I've got DirecTV...

Do you get good reception?
DirecTV works great here in S Calif, but we don't get many thunderstorms.

I think this is an example of. . .
I'm happy for you! TW should be glad that you didn't smash their office up with your (former) cable box:

Right now it says no upcoming broadcasts, I'd check back closer to gametime as someone may schedule to stream the game..... Quality isn't top notch, but it is the game, and it is the Colts.... You may need a program called sopcast if they broadcast using that rather than WMP.
