Path through the Playoffs

I posted this as a comment in another Diary, but I wanted to offer my prediction for the rest of the season:

Here is how the Playoff seeding for the AFC will shape up.

  1. Patriots
  2. Colts
  3. Steelers
  4. Chargers
  5. Jaguars
  6. Titans
Pats will likely play, and beat,  the winner of the Titans @ Steelers .  We'll play the winner of Jags @ Chargers.  In this case, we'll pick the Chargers to win.

We'll beat the Chargers at home, then we'll beat the Patriots in Foxboro, avenging both regular season losses and advancing to the Super Bowl.

After that, we'll beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl, forever giving us power to shut Terry up.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

actually
if the colts are the number 2 seed, they will play the highest seed remaining, likely the steelers. the pats will get to play the lowest seed remaining.

Not Quite
Yup. In your scenario, we'd draw Pittsburgh at home in the second round. Although, I think at some point you've got to acknowledge that the Colts have played one of the toughest schedules in the NFL.
