Real Character is...

Tomasse over at Pats Pulpit speaks of how the Pats are a team of "real character" and the Colts are "cheaters." I could go on and on about how dumb this is but I will just say one thing...

Does a team with "real character" spike the ball on the logo of the opposing team at the end of the game?

Tommasse
Let's not concern ourselves with what he thinks. Seriously, no one thinks New England is a high character team. They committed over 150 yards in penalties yesterday, many of them personal foul penalties. Belichick acted like a spoiled child following the game, as he always does.

If Tommasse wants to think his team has "character" and "class," then fine. I'm sure he also thinks the moon is made of cheese, weapons of mass destruction are in Iraq, and Elvis is alive and well and living in a Texas nursing mom under the name Sebastian Half.

Both
Teams are GREAT and deserve high praise for a game that lived up to the hype! As a Titans fan, I dont want to face either of you right now. You both are TOP in the NFL and the game could have gone either way!
Go Titans!

Titans
Lets not sell the Titans short. You know my feelings re: Vince Young. He's playing horrible right now. If the Titans had stable, competent QB play, they'd be undefeated now. Instead, they are 6-2, I believe. That defense is no joke.

I agree, great game
not too many games live up to their hype and this one did. Looking forward to another matchup in Jan and getting a shot at either team in Feb.

Its also bad luck
if you dont have at least 15 million fans that qualify as being certified jackasses...the pats have that covered as well.

you should know me
as I am the greatest quarterback in NFL history.  Also, noticed I did not say all, I said 15 million...of which you are #1.  Kudos for the lightning quick wit though..."I'd rather be a jackass than an asshole like you"  LOL!  Pure comedic genious.  Seriously, I do love this give and take though so I am anxiously awaiting your response.

You're an ass...
You won a close game.  It was hard fought.  Congratulations, go jerk off to your Tom Brady Fathead.

No...
That is fine.  It's probably about like the feeling I had when I was 10 rows up, and Joseph Addai ran through a huge gaping hole to take a 4 point lead in the AFC Championship game.  I believe that was about 2 weeks before the Colts won the Super Bowl last year.

That was almost as good as Marlin Jackson intercepting Brady's pass to seal the deal.  If you think they were piping in noise yesterday, you should have heard how loud the volume on Polians amp was when that happened.

"I suck"
There is that sense of humor I was expecting from you.  Actually I did congratulate the good folks at Pat Pulpit for the win already.  Thanks, but I already have a fair amount of experience in victory.

The Next Generation
Just remember kids... Somewhere, right now, a dad is going "Man, I hate the Patriots", and his kids are hearing him and becoming Colts fans.
"Hey, if you want me to come here, I want to come here. But if you don't, I'm going to beat your butt for 15 years playing in the AFC." -Peyton Manning-

character
yep, a team with character has a guy caught for HGH and the most fines for illegal hits... and a wide receiver who has been run out of two teams for being a lazy cry baby ... (anyone want to bet he is a cripple after this year with all the stuff they are hopping him up on to be able to play every sunday...), and a QB whose big claim to fame is how many supermodels he can knock up..

colts have a ring and class too...

by bluegirl on Nov 5, 2007 1:02 PM EST reply actions

Gotta call you out on this one bluegirl...
Yes he nails supermodels, however I think  his two Super Bowl MVPs, and three rings are a little more important. Just sayin' what I think.

Just rediculous.
This "class" argument is laughable.  It's silly, it's sad, it's extraneous.  It's not like he went looking for the logo--the play took place at mid field.  Obviously a huge play in a huge game; he was pumped, as I'm sure Bob Sanders would have been if he had done something similar.  To try to point to this as an example of "classless" behavior is absurd, and, frankly, boring.

The Pats are cheaters.  Rodney Harrison used HGH.  Randy Moss is a chump.  Belichick is a soulless bum.  The Colts would have won if Marvin had been healthy.  Tony Dungy is a saint.

Is this helping you to feel better?

Most of which
are able to correctly spell Pittsburgh though...unlike yourself

Hmmmmm,
that is a tough call TruePutzFan (See how I changed your name to say Putz...I learned that from you).  I would have to say neither.  I would not worry about the Colts folding the tent though...I think they will be just fine.  I am disappointed though in your wit however.  I was expecting some more pointed jabs but all I am getting from you now is the same old rheteric.
