I am not surprised...
about the result of Gonzo's injury, but that just SUCKS!

injuries against pats
pats play dirty .... so this type of thing doesn't surprise me... probably why he held out so many starters.. didn't want their d going after guys who were a bit banged up and make it worse..

just so long as we win enough to win the division and make it to the playoffs healthy..

thats funny
I don't think the Pats had anything to do the Gonzo's injury.

Anyway, if Harrison, Gonzo and Clark are all out for this game, then we'll see how good Manning really is because Brady operated with less talent at the receiver position his whole career until this season.

At least you have Wayne.

Brady
Brady also had a top ten defense and a stellar running game too. I think Manning wouldn't have minded trading the touchdown record for another two Super Bowls.

a stellar running game???
are you kidding me?? Brady never had a great RB, they run the ball average at best. Corey Dillon was the best RB he ever had and that was at the tail end of his career.

Now this Maroney kid might develop into a player, but when Brady was winning his SBs, it certainly wasn't because of his running game. Antwain Smith, Kevin Faulk, yeah those guys strike fear in the heart of opposing defenses. Manning always had a much better running game with the Edge and now Addai.

I'll concede his defense was much better though.
