Are You Going To Watch?

If you Colts fans are like me, then you hate the f*cking Patriots.  Hate.  Loathe.  And like me, you are tired of the Patriot ball washing.  Sure, they are doing good.  Sure they are a good team.  Sure Brady is breaking records.  Yet, I don't give a rat's ass.

The Patriots play a game tonight, that will be on 3 different channels.  It is a football game, and we all love to watch football.  So are you going to watch it?  I am not sure if I will watch it yet, but I am hoping that the Giants win for just one reason... I can't stand the thought of listening to annoying Pats fans for the next 30+ years talk about going undefeated!!!

So please, take my survey.  I wanna know how the Colt nation is feeling about the game.  :)

Poll

That was my Dwight Schrute impression.  (That one episode he was tricked Friday was Saturday?)  Yea, I knew it was Friday, but kept thinking it was tonight.  Opps.  Won't be the first time I made a stupid stupid mistake.  :)

Nah
No way in hell am I watching it. I started out watching their games but then it got to sicken me all the jizz drinking. In the Eagles game I turned in late when Is aw they were up only to see the Pats suddenly get the lead and Eagles suck. I started watching a good deal of the Steelers game only to see them suddenly suck it. Same with the Jets game. Looking like Jets would tie/win and bam, Brady hits moss on a big ass pass and seals the win. Seems every time I watch they suddenly do well so I will not watch.

I couldn't really care less if they go 16-0 as long as they lose in the playoffs. It'd be funny to have moron Pats fans go on about 16-0 in the future yet try and rationalize why they lost in the playoffs.

It is funny that the Pats will either go down as the best team in nfl history if they win it all or the biggest chokers in nfl history if they lose before the SB...which they should since any fan with common sense knows the Colts are the better team. Sadly, I doubt the media will call them chokers if they don't win the SB yet the Colts were huge chokers in 2005 for losing...the double standard is amusing.

Oh and Brady isn't breaking records. Yeah he may get the td record but big fuggin deal. He'll have way more passes than Manning did since he already has 39 more than Peyts had in 04. The rating record is where it's at and no way Brady breaks it unless he whips up a perfect rated game with a lot of attempts....or throws a td on 50% of his passes. People can argue about the rating validity but the fact is it is a stat that everyone can use to compare qb passing performance and logic says Peyts' 04 is better since his rating was higher. There is simply no way to debate this.

Also
Peyton had his 49 in 14 games.  He played the first quarter in game 15, and the first series in game 16.  Not to mention that he sat out significant time in at least 2 games that I can remember.  A good number of Brady's TDs have come in garbage time, after the Patriots have long since sealed the game.  I agree, Peyton's season was more impressive, record be damned.

Re: Also
Peyton got his in 15 games actually. He threw 2 TDs against San Diego in Week 16, then threw a total of 2 passes against Denver the next week (Week 17). But, I still agree with what you're saying. Everyone talks about Brady breaking Manning's record, but he's taking one more game to do it and has got close by running up the score when the Pats got the chance. I'm not impressed.

Ah yes
I was going off of memory, and confusing the 04 and 05 seasons.

I'll watch it because its historical
context will be even more meaningful if they go undefeated in the regular season and lose in the playoffs or SB which I think will happen.

Now that would be hysterical.

Yea...
I hate the Patriots, but I love football.  I'm curious to see how both the Giants and Pats play this game.

Some 4th string Giants DE is going to take out Brady in the 2nd quarter when he's trying to break Peyton's record.

Also, it's football.  I enjoy watching football.  I'll at least watch the game until it gets out of hand.

I'll watch
and hope the Giants' formidable pass rush levels Brady before the records fall. Not rooting for injuries, mind you, just rooting for Brady to be removed before he's killed.

survey option
how about the option

"Watching the game for the very slim chance the Giants beat the pants off the Patriots"

Hey it could happen...

I almost had that...
but i wanted Puck the Fats to win, and too many choices would have compromised that.  ;)
