Some Madden Questions...

As BBS knows I have been a die hard Madden fan for a few years now, but I have to admit there are some things I just have never figured out. I am taking a chance and asking it here because I know a lot of us play Madden. Besides, I am under the weather and can't sleep so what else is there to do other than play Madden?

  1. Has anyone ever figured out what the "IMP" rating is? Its pretty easy to figure out how agility or throwing accuracy affects a player but I have no idea what "IMP" is.
  2. Does anyone know how awareness affects players?
  3. How does the "interview" rating matter when drafting players?
Again, if anyone has knowledge of this please post it. Thanks!

Madden Q?s
  1. IMP is importance. It's basically trade value. The only time I've used it is to find a bad player to throw into a trade to even out the number of players. Teams will trade away a player with a low IMP rating without getting much in return. It's based on position and overall rating.
  2. I'm not completely sure. Awareness gives QB's a bigger vision cone. Other players it either affects how smart, likely to see and go to the ball, players that you aren't controlling at the time are.
  3. I've always assumed it's a rough measure of the awareness rating they will have. I'm not sure what I based that on.

Well..
Shake N Bake was right about #1.

2. I think awareness is the most important stat, especially on the defensive side.  The higher the awareness, the faster the defenders will react to the play.  Lower awareness = slower response time.

- On the offensive side of the ball it's not as important because you are generally controlling the offensive players.  If you run plays with option routes, the offensive player will get open easier if their awareness is higher i've noticed.

3. I've kind of assumed the same thing.  Has something to do with future awareness, but i don't pay much attention to it.
