My FFL Draft

So I had my big FFL league draft today in which the winner gets a $350 prize. I played last year and the rules of the league let you keep three keepers and my three are...

Frank Gore
Ronnie Brown
Reggie Bush

Now for the draft today I managed to trade up several spots in the draft so that is why I have multiple picks in a few rounds. Here is who I drafted... and please feel free to offer any adive or criticism.

  1. Carson Palmer
  2. Larry Fitzgerald
  3. Andre Johnson
  4. Marion Barber
  5. Alge Crumpler
  6. Ladell Betts (Wow!)
  7. Jerious Norwood (Wow Again!)
  8. Chris Chambers
  9. Braylon Edwards
  10. Eagles D
  11. Orlindo Mare
Overall I thought I had a really great draft. I still can't believe that Betts and Norwood fell to me.

My 2 cents
Not a big fan of Ronnie Brown but I guess he was your best option at #3 keeper and he is a second round at almost every league so good call, Gore, Bush and Brown is a really good trio of keepers.

Not knowing who else was there I like the Palmer pick, specially as you managed to get 2 top WRs IMO, Marion Barber is a good pick for depth, I am not so sure about Crumpler with Harrington (who else was there?), Betts is a pick that will pay off, so is Norwood ( cant believe you get a $350 price and those guys slipped).

Chambers is really falling in the drafts, getting him as your #3 is a good call and then one of my favorite 3rd year players (in spite of the QB problems), a D and a kicker.

Not knowing the rest of the rosters, size of the league or scoring rules I like that team, all around shaped (except for the TE but they are usually a dime a dozen and the best are often in the WW).

Thanks
yeah it is standard scoring league and QB's get point deducted for INT's. Kickers do not get point deducted for missing field goals.

Palmer over Romo
you'll be regretting that one. ;)

Yeah...
And maybe an army of giant mutant pigs will come down from the sky and take Jerry Jones back to his home planet.

And besides... I don't get any love for drafting Barber?

Barber was a great choice
but don't expect the same number of TDs this season, I think JJ will steal a few and Romo will many more TDs as well.

I think you'll get 600-700 yds and 10-12 TDs from MB3.
