It's a very, very, very bitter pill to swallow, but the reality is the Chargers made the plays and the Colts did not. The game was lost on one drive, engineered by Billy Volek, filling in for Phillip Rivers, and Michael Turner, filling in for LaDanian Tomlinson. After that drive, despite the amazing efforts of Peyton, you had a sense the game was finished.

Too many mistakes (balls deflecting off receivers hands, dumb penalties, bad execution) and too many opportunities slipped away.
