Super Bowl 42 will feature "Manning v. Brady," only this time it is Eli, not Peyton. The Giants defeated the Packers in, arguably, the best game of the year. Congrats to Eddie over at Big Blue View. What's funny is most Giants fans wanted Eli Manning traded just 4 weeks ago.

So, Patriots v. Giants for this season's Super Bowl. Discuss.

you might as well hand the Lombardi trophy

to the Pats now, I can't see how they lose to the Giants. The only teams that had a shot at beating the Pats were the Cowboys, Colts or Packers, they all shit the bed so the Pats get to take the easy road to their 4th title.

Giants played well, but the Pats didn't play well and still won. They were up by 10 late in the 4th wne the Giants gotan oh by the way TD late. If the Pats play poorly I guess anything can happen, but I can't see that happening.

The Giants could beat the Patriots. Anyone who can run the ball, stop the run, and rush the QB can win.

The Patriots are undefeated, but not undefeatable.

hope peyton

is going to new york to teach Eli everything he knows about the pats defense... the giants pass rush can force brady to throw when he doesn't want to and can stop new england's so-so rush game... Eli needs to play mistake free and know where the holes in that defense are.. hope the brothers are going to watch a lot of tape together...

Eli & Peyton...

I don't think the Giants would encourage Peyton to stop by their practice sessions to share his secrets on the Patriots defense... Peyt's had his hands full the last time N.E. beat him. I think Eli is btter off on his own. Yes, he also got beat by the Patriots but, he didn't pull a fourth-quarter choke like his older brother.

Alas, Eli & Co. don't stand a chance against the greatest team in pro football history. For the Manning family, let's hope its not a complete blow-out.

By the way, if the Colts had had the Patriots so-so rushing game a couple weeks ago, they would have gotten by the Chargers.

I guess that the SD proves one thing:

If you send lots of guys wanting Brady's head, he can give you a nice looking bad throw for a possible INT. Heck, any QB in the league is like that. You can try to cover every receiver that the Pats have, but you just cannot do this. So keep sending people down to Brady. WTF can happen? You lose? You probably will, anyway. But I think that this is the best way to beat the Pats.

This SD defense is really good, but I think that the Giants have better guys to do the pass rush. And even SD had a clear shot at winning the game (well, sort of). The Giants can do this.

Not that I care too much. The NFC championship game was the best game of the season, and I doubt that the SB is going to be better. Last year was the same thing, but on the AFC game.

Sounds simple enough... send a bunch of guys to hit Brady and hope for an interception. I'd turn this information over the Giants immediately. I'm sure there's a reward in it for you. Think of it, MerryGoByeBye becomes the man who took down the Patriots. Hell.. you'd be right up there with the man who shot Liberty Valance!

The fact is that San Diego would beat the Giants. The Patriots will win their 19th game and be crowned the greatest Super Bowl Champion of all time. I do understand that the Patriots are easy to hate, I never liked the winning ways of Miami & Pittsburgh & Buffalo when I was a kid. It hurts to see your favorite team fail. But, stay strong in six or seven years the Colts may be the team that rearranges the NFL record book.
