The Worst Seats In Sports

This type of thing should never, ever be allowed; and, in the brand new Lucas Oil Stadium nonetheless.

Some poor schmo probably plopped down $150 per seat for this nonsense.  I've heard of "Obstructed View Seating" before (heck, I've been in the old Bulls/Blackhawks arena before) but this takes the cake.  I guess good old fashion greed never goes out of style.  In all fariness, this is the first negative thing I've seen about the Luke.  By all accounts, it's a first rate stadium.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

One can only assume

that there are 4 other sections in the stadium with similar views. I don’t get it. With all of the technology in the world today, how can this happen?

Jebus...

I know. At least put up a flat screen or something. It’s totally inexcusable. I’d be sooooo pissed if I bought those seats.

They don't sell those seats

and they do not count for the capacity number when the NFL was looking for places to host the Super Bowl.

damn, i must be really dumb but

if they don’t sell those seats and they don’t count towards capacity numbers, then why are there friggin’ seats there? some sort of seat equivalent of pouring out malt liquor on the curb for dead homies?

The Colts definitely don’t sell those seats as season tickets, but from what I understand they may them sell them for special occasions like a playoff game. I wouldn’t mind purchasing them for $20 and then standing in the standing room area on the north end for a playoff game.

I've Always Wondered That Too

I have forgotten to go look for those seat when I have been there and taken a picture sitting in them.

These seats are for scalpers

I scalped tickets for the old stadium for a Pats/Colts game and I was behind the columns. I did not regret it though… it was a great game… (except for edge being stuffed at the one with no time left)

those are the cheap seats

… for parents with little kids, who won’t be sittingit them since they are chasing the kids all over anyway.. You don’t spend anytime sitting, so you might as well get them cheap

An expert is someone who knows more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing...

Or

You might as well get them and stand in the top row or in an entrance until an usher tells you to move. And then you go to the next entrance.

I could never stand for 3 hours, but I’m sure a determined person could.
