Marvin

This is why you don’t mess with him. You sue Marvin, and he takes it out on poor old Christ McAllister.

Rexx is not thrilled

Here’s what he had to say at Baltimore Beatdown:

Defensively, Chris McAlister looks like he is on drugs, just standing still waiting to react long after Harrison makes his move. Why in the world would you sit back with Indy on the four yard line and not jam Harrison at the line? I just don’t get their thought process. Great tackling on that long Indy run, with seven Ravens missing shots to make the tackle.

It probably doesn't mean a whole lot in the end, but...

The Colts really didn’t have to get that conservative defensively there.

If that’s a hold and grabbing Freeney by his hips and pulling him backward isn’t… I’m confused.

by bamock on Oct 12, 2008 3:26 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I want to see our back-ups on D. It’s a good chance to get Senn, Davis, Hughes, Ratliff, Silva, Ramsey, Johnson etc. some playing time and experience.

by bamock on Oct 12, 2008 3:26 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

it was my understanding that they wouldn’t call holding unless they could affect the play, and I didn’t see it on that play

OK, and one Jaeg Bomb

I have a tradition of having one Jaeg Bomb for every Vinatieri field goal. That REALLY screwed us on the Ravens/Colts playoff game, lol!

i should try it but give it a little twist or something. watch MNF and every time kornheiser pisses you off take a shot or something. you could be screwed

MVPs of game

Offense- Manning
Defense- Brackett

But the entire Colts Defense played great. 3 INTs, two force fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 4 sacks…

by MarkFive05 on Oct 12, 2008 3:48 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Mathis with 3 sacks… a forced fumble and a fumble recovery is clearly the defensive MVP of the game.

by bamock on Oct 12, 2008 3:49 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Alright I'm out-voted

There were so many great plays made by many different players on Defense

by MarkFive05 on Oct 12, 2008 3:52 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Good Point

But I say Brackett because he was the one stopping all the run plays early in the game setting the tempo.

6 punts is alot

Sometimes I wish we didn’t stop trying in the 4th q

by furrycolt on Oct 12, 2008 3:55 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I agree only because I think it’s good for our starting offense to continue getting practice together in sync like they have been today. No preseason with Peyton is a good reason to keep pushing hard late in the game with a big lead.

by bamock on Oct 12, 2008 3:56 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Exactly what I was thinking

Peyton needs the practice. Course, his knee needs rest too.
