We find out the reason why the second surgery was kept a secret. I am on board with this reason, and am glad the Bears didn't have this information, as they surely would have tested his knee more than they already did.

I agree, and am glad it went down the way it did. Now everyone can shut up, and realize that it wasn’t as simple as a conspiracy plan like the Colts want to keep things from there fans, or that they’re idiots and threw Manning out there just for the hell of it. They had enough confidence that he’d remain healthy, and was the best choice to give us the best chance at a win.
