Around SBN: Bracketology 2012: Duke Finally Steps Up To The No. 1 Line

The Colts may add another defensive tackle according to Tony Dungy, but this week they are likely to use the roster spot to activate LB Tyjuan Hagler. Hagler came through practice yesterday with no issues.

Charlie Johnson will continue to start at left tackle. Dungy said Tony Ugoh appears to be back to full strength, but the offensive line is playing well as a unit.

eh?

So Hagler practiced with no issues. Does that mean that they will play him Sunday? Won’t he have to get his timing down again with the unit?

If CJ allows Peyton to get sacked this Sunday, I will be pissed.

Hagler

They are saying he will not start. Session is the starter.

CJ

is actually playing pretty well.

Also…let’s face it, Kampman and VandenBosch are pretty freakin’ good. If he gives up one sack in the next two weeks, I’d say that’s pretty good.

He's not the disaster he was last year

but he’s not beating out Ugoh just by on the field play. Ugoh has some issue the Colts aren’t talking about, that’s the only reason CJ is starting. I don’t think he’s been significantly worse than Diem (who is really struggling), but CJ is performing above his track record to get to that level, while Diem is below his to get there.

Shake

I totally agree. I wonder if the coaches question Ugoh’s desire?

I mean..if I do, and I’m just a Colts homer bystander, the coaches have to as well.

One in two weeks

Maybe could live with that. VandenBosch scares me big time! He is a monster.
