It's time for Dungy to Retire
I am starting to think that Dungy's heart is not in the game anymore.
Over a undred yards in penalties, another game where we really didn't have a game plan offensively (or so it seemed)...I just don't think that Dungy is preparing the Colt's team effectively this season.
Now I'm not saying for him to retire right now, in the middle of the season. I'm just questioning his desire to coach. His son died a couple years ago, he has a best selling book, and another one in production, I just don't think his head is in the right place for this season.
I don't think that we will win the division for the first time since the conception of the AFC South. I'm praying for a wild card spot. I'm preparing for the onslaught of media members proclaiming that Marvin is officially done and that Peyton is too. I don't think they are, I think the Packer's secondary played an outstanding game.
But yeah, I am questioning Dungy's desire to coach football at this time.

I agree. I like Dungy and think he is a great coach but it sure seems clear that he really doesn’t have the desire to coach. He didn’t challenge those two close plays today and just seem resigned to the team losing and has sort of shrugged his shoulders this season at their horrible play.
He’s done well and should be a sure fire hall of fame inductee but I really do think it is time he moves on.

I agree too
He is a part time coach this time and it shows.. Caldwell might be a good coach, but if he is covering when dungy isn’t there since he is spending more time with his family, he is trying to be dungy, not make the colts his team..
Seattle is in the same boat – homgren’s last year.. and they suck too…

What's The Matter With You People?
Where were these opinions last week? It’s a bad loss. That’s it. We fix the problems and move on. I don’t question his desire at all. If he wasn’t prepared to fully immerse himself in coaching this year, he would have retired. He doesn’t seem to be the type of person that half-asses it.

I'll be glad
to see Dungy retire. He just doesn’t have that ‘go for the jugler’ attitude in my opinion. Nice guy, but we need more than a classy, nice guy. The Colts should be out to DESTROY everyone with all that offensive talent. And, the Colts should have at least 3 superbowl victories in this era. I would love to have a coach who would go for it on 4th downs…..go for touchdowns and not field goals more often, throw down field more…..really try to score shitloads of points. Take total advantage of that offensive talent and be super disappointed every time you don’t score a touchdown. I just see a somewhat passive coach who just doesn’t seem to get fired up about things. Just my opinion, but I’d like to see a change.

No way!
if he retires were screwed even more hes one of the best coaches in the leauge the only reason y we arent winning is were just getting murded on the line of scrimmage specially on defense its like everytime we lose we only get the ball like 5 times! so i think with bob sanders comin back we’ll look a whole lot better. and sometimes the other team was just better than u that day.
