WTF!!!

Its LT Bryant here live from Iraq... HIGHLY upset about how things went today!!! Granted we started off with ticky tac fouls, but then it got blatantly BAD! We cannot expect our boys to do well when they are facing a team that has 16 playing  defence for them! That is one hell of a HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE! The Illegal Hands to the  face calls, the MADE UP "FALSE START BECAUSE THE PLAYER WAS TRYING TO DRAW THE OFFENSIVE LINE TO FALSE START WITH A NON FOOTBALL MOVE"

What the heck was that??? Conveniently it gave Green Bay another 1st down as well as eating up game clock as well as another 3 points... The entire game was screwy!

I hope that you are all doing well at home, but WOW! That really hurt to watch! Not to mention they cut the game off with 4 minutes to play for the Jets game... I noticed (but was not one bit surprised) that we scored a touchdown and then it was called back!

ARGH!

I will be home in a month, and hope to catch up with some of you to YELL LIKE HELL at the games!

God Bless,

1LT Bryant

agree totally

that was a victory for the refs not the packers…

I was getting flashbacks to the 2003 playoffs..

Hope someone on this team has the balls to call out the refs after this SNAFU (situation normal all f#$^& up.

So the officials are to blame for the Colts players being undisciplined and sucking? Nice logic.

It is amazing what some diehard fans will reach for. I admit when i was a teenager and a fan of the 9ers (in the 90s) I used to blame the refs when they underachieved but hitting adulthood I realized it is lame to blame the refs when the team i like and is EXPECTED to play well sucks.

The Colts flat out played like shit today plain and simple. Everyone of my fellow Colts fan should be disgusted by their performance not trying to blame the refs and live in la-la land as if Indy played well.

Just a reminder

The Colts next week plays a team in the Titans that just ran the ball for over 300 yards today. But hey let me guess, the Colts have to play Colts football, right. They have to correct some mental errors and then they’ll be alright…im guessing thats whats going to be said this week by the team. I just want them to play like they want it…like the Packers today. Since I live in Illinois, I was unable to watch last weeks game so I have yet to watch a Colts football game this year that I am acustomed to.

referees suck in this league

I am not saying the colts played well, but it is really hard to tell how good or bad they played given the inequality in the penalties today..

Watch international soccer and you will NEVER see this type of thing.. They have full time referees and a strict system of ratings to promote good referees.

Winters was on the TV more than any player.

When even announcers are making comments on the poor quality of the referee how can you argue it doesn’t affect a game? How demoralizing is it when the other team gets a first down on a penalty you might not hear again this season.

And the colts aren’t the only team on the short end of the stick. Ravens lost to Ten on a bullshit roughing the passer.. Hochuli gave a game to denver and Jags still couldn’t win in the PITT game despite blatantly bad refereeing.

It is the frustration of watching a game where you KNOW the referees damn well won’t just let the teams play. Call the blatant and otherwise STAY OUT OF IT>>>>>

Offsides

Again, I hate to complain about the referees, but I have never seen so many offside penalties. Especially bullshit ones like “trying to cause a false start by the offense by jumping offside and then back”. What the hell is that?

The colts sucked

But the ref’s sure didn’t give us any favors.

What the hell is up with them onside kicking it out of bounds at their 45, and only getting a 5 yard penalty with a re-kick? We should have got that ball on their 45.. it just looked like bullshit to me.
There were multiple calls that sucked hard for us, but the Colts really stunk it up as well.

I'm torn.

I don’t want the excuses, as the Colts looked bad and the score wasn’t close. At the same time I was screaming at my tv set for the first few game minutes over the calls. Every one of them. And that is when we were playing well still. I thought that the one ref had it out for us straight up. I told my family that if they give us enough crap calls to make the game tank away from us , they will settle the flags down once it doesn’t matter.

One thing is certain. When certain things break away from you as a team, it changes the whole approach to the game. We stopped several drives that were handed back to the Pack on penalties. Then they scored. Likewise we were stalled by penalties. Either we were that sloppy (on some of them we were) or someone had money on the game/ vested interest (no doubt). After all that, the game just got away from us.

So we lost. Bottom line. Bad in the end. If any true Colts fan wants to take issue with any griping about the refs, that is fine. If some predictable troll (a couple come to mind) want to come here and preach at me/others about our outlook, they can eat…..
