13-3
Thats what people have predicted us doing. By God, This is what the Colts do, they stare advercity in the face and laugh at it. True fans will stick up and pull for this team. Yes, you can say "what if the Colts lose next week to the Titans" but what will you say if they win? The Colts do not give up. We have people saying Dungy needs to retire. Then you look at last week. The Colts scored over 30 points. The week before that, they came back in a amasing fasion to beat the Texans. No, Dungy is not the problem. Its, people like Tim Jennings that screwed us over. Those penalties screwed us over. This game goes on Ron Meeks shoulders. Peyton made mistakes covering for the defense by trying to force passes. Dungy can not cover for penalties and blocked kicks.
To tell you the truth, I cant wait for Big Bob Sanders to come back next week and wreck ship. There wont be a 80 yard run by Lard(lol) White with Sanders the Eraser filling the gaps. Freeney and Mathis looked outstanding rushing the QB. Rhodes was looking great to. Do you think Bill Polian will just call it quits. HELL NO! Remember our two motos, Believe in the blue and In Polian we trust. Plus Manning cant stand to lose( AKA his biggest pet peve). Calm down.

BELIEVE!!
This might end up being the best thing for us. We’ll have to play out the season (no resting starters) and be poised and ready for the playoffs. Without New England standing in the way, we could have gotten complacent and just expected to walk into the playoffs and win the Super Bowl.
Believe in Blue, y’all!

Thank you, do not give up hope.
One game at time playing as a team. Another great moto.

“6-10” post, this is the outcome I desperately hope for!!!

13-3! Watch out, NFL. This is the beginning of a 14-0 streak!

You are high if you think that magically the “good football” fairy is going to sprinkle some dust on this team and they are going to go on a huge streak. How many games of shit play will it take for you and some others to realize this team is having issues this season? They have had ONE good game out of 6 and it was vs a shit QB with a shit offense.
Every Colts fan knows this team has the potential to kick ass but they aren’t so why defend them? I do not think the season is done and the team needs to be torn apart but it is clear it will be a struggle for them to get on a winning streak and I won’t be proclaiming form the heavens that they are “back” until i actually see at least 3 friggin consecutive games of solid play.
They may indeed beat the Titans which would be awesome but if they do, why should everyone suddenly act like they are back? They may go the following week and get blown out by the Patriots.
Sorry but I am not going to be a blind fanboy and go by faith with this team. Again, I KNOW they can dominate but until i see them actually get back to doing it I am not going to proclaim they are just fine and will get through the season OK.
I am HOPING this loss is a wake up call and they will work their asses off for the final 10 games but you know what? I thought the Jags loss would have been a wake up call and it clearly wasn’t sot he days of my blind faith are gone until i see this team start to play like how I expect them to play.
As for the “In Polian We Trust” thing…please. I like Polian and think he is perhaps the bets GM in the league but he has made a lot of bad decisions lately.

Like What?
Polian didn’t know that McCargo was not going to pass his physical. Polian didn’t know Quinn Pitcock would retire or Ed Johnson would smoke the refer. Some times you have to believe. Perhaps you should read Tony Dungy’s book “Quiet Strenght” its about blind faith and faith itself. A book you can learn something from. Not a rip at a fellow Colts fan.

Interesting.
I don’t know about 13-3, I’d be happy with 11-5 to tell you the truth. However, just because I’m not completely confident in a 13-3 record, doesn’t mean that I’m giving up hope or not supporting this team.
I think the thing that upset me the most about yesterday’s game were the penalties. I lost track of how many yards we gave GB after it was over 100. That is friggin’ ridiculous!
That said, I am inclined to believe that yesterday’s loss will end up being a positive thing. I think they will work that much harder this week. That stuff about “The Colts are Back” that we heard all week – they heard as well. And maybe they bought into it. A defeat this ugly will, I think, help them in the long run.
Down the Titans – we can beat these guys.

overlooking GB?
I wonder with the tough AFC games coming up if this team didn’t overlook green bay somewhat.. GB has injuries and hadn’t looked great, and it is an NFC game..

The Colts could easily beat Tennessee
But, if they do, I don’t think it will be because of Dungy’s undersized, porous defense. It will be because Peyton and the offense will be firing on all cylinders again. …and the awful defense will be just good enough to hold their own. They’re amazingly inconsistent this year….for a variety of reasons possibly. But, with their talent level, the offense can light it up at anytime. The Titans are way overrated.

Agreed.
I just hope they shore up the Run D some before Monday night. We all know that the Titans will try to run the ball and burn the clock – just like GB did. I would be happy if that in the Titans’ first 5 possessions, they didn’t score on every one. ugh!

Chris Johnson Scares Me
We knew he was good before the draft. We knew he wouldn’t last until our pick in round 2. We didn’t expect a division rival to take him. The dude is fast! He’ll be in the secondary before we realize it.
Here’s my initial defensive game plan. Stack the box, cover the receivers one-on-one and make Collins beat us. Johnson and White will beat us if we let them. I hope the defense works on getting off the blocks this week. I noticed too many times we couldn’t tackle Grant b/c we were too engaged with a Green Bay player.

Sanders will take care of the run game
Jennings has to do the the best he can possibly do to stop the passing attack. Dante Hughes also looks like he will be seeing the field more often.

Jennings Scares Me More
Hopefully his issues were of the “fixable” type that Dungy always talks about.

im worried
they have to win next week for me to think there back to colts football cause they got crushed by the pack sunday. Its gonna be the tuffest game we played so far because its at tenesse its on monday night the crowd could be a factor and this titans team is just dominating everyone at the line of scrimmage and there undeafeated when the schedule came out this was the hardest stretch of games starting with greenbay and we needed to get a fast start and we didnt so we gotta get bob sanders and joseph addai back quick cause its gonna be very difficult to win games and we gotta get on a hot streak and get to the playoffs and get hot cause we got about 2 or 3 games we can lose and still make it to the playoffs so lets hope the colts can wake up and play colts football.
