Blue STAMPEDE!

There are 2 things certain about this weeks match:

1. There will be some 20 minute spiel about how Colts bolted in the night from Baltimore.

2. The Ravens will game plan to run the ball down our throats

Hopefully the coaching staff will realise that if Ravens have McGahee (although he is questionable) the Ravens will have a good running game going. However if we are able to get up in their face and smash their RB for losses or very small gains for the first 5 or 6 carries then we completely destroy their plan along with ESPN's 'experts' and their "My 7 year old son could run the ball against Indianapolis" This forces them to pass with QB elite Joe Flacco (haha) and then we can sit back and watch him get munched by Freeney and Mathis (God i hope they are healthy).

If they are able to continually run the ball for 5+ YPC then we have another tight one on our hands. Question is have we done enough to be able to stop the run this week (ultimately up to DL)

LB

i think it’s ultimately up to the linebackers to step up and stop the run, especially is freeney, hayden, and jackson can’t go.

Wheeler

I hope they put in Wheeler in place for Sessions. It’s not that Clint is a bad player, far from it. He’s a very good Cover-2 LB, but I just don’t think that he’s big enough to deal with McGahee or Lorenzo Neal who is blocking for him. What does everyone else think about this?

Sessions is hurt

no idea on whether he’s going to play but he missed practice.

The thing about Wheeler is that he’s the opposite extreme from Sessions. They have to teach Wheeler to play in a cover-2. He didn’t play much zone so he’s going to be a liability in coverage for a while. He’s huge for a Colts LB and was a great blitzer so he should be great at the SAM as soon as he can cover, but the Colts don’t like to put guys who can’t cover on the field. The only time I can really remember them doing it was with Rob Morris at MLB and even then they would sub in Brackett on passing downs.
