New Blog: Sounder At Heart for Seattle Sounders Fans!

Just not our year...

The news just keeps getting worse and worse. The latest from Phil B...

http://blogs.indystar.com/philb/2008/10/bummin.html

This is down right awful. I keep waiting for us to get healthy...but that just doesnt seem like it's going to happen. I am not throwing in the towel yet, but just really sad we haven't been able to take advantage yet with a wide-open AFC.

PROVE ME WRONG COLTS!!!

son of a bitch

We Colts fans did not pay $720 million dollars in public funds to build a brand new stadium that will get opened on Sunday Night Football by Jim Friggin Sorgi.

Well...

I kind of agree with him. I have the same feeling…keep waiting to get healthy, and somebody else goes down. But, that’s the nature of the game. And I, for one, will NOT give up on those Colts.

Nope. Not now. Not ever.

GO COLTS!!!

How can you give up on us when..

We have number 18 under center, we are in every single game as long as he’s playing.

Agreed.

It would be nice, tho, if they could fine their consistency and cohesiveness this weekend. I believe this is a very important, possibly season changing game.

Okay you can have it..

I’m calling the Ravens now and telling them to chill out for the last 2.5 minutes of the game. This should open the doors to a game winning Manning TD pass. We’ll get the ball back but I took care of that as well. I asked Flacco to fire a ball into your CB’s chest on a roll out. Anything else? I need to charge my phone.

I don’t get it.

Dothemathis-

Someone asked for a season changing game/win so I’m giving it to you. I just had to make a call. The way I described it IS our M O. We are the heartbreak kids this year. They’ll call it in during the 4th quarter so I figured I’d beat them to the punch.

I got something!

You can remember that the Ravens aren’t the best team in there division either. Remember that Ray Ray’s knee is hurting, and that your starting running back is out, or only gonna be available part time. Also remember that you play the same way the Bears do, and the Vikings, and the Jags, at this point I think we’re getting used to the teams that play tough D, and run the ball. At some point we’ll get a gameplan that will be able to get passed this, when we are forced to see it every week. Even with all our troubles we haven’t been dominated on the score board, we’ve been in the majority of the games. So we feel good about our chances any game.

Season not over

I agree, this sucks really, really bad. But, don’t forget, the Colts won a super bowl with Jason David at cornerback – not a terrible player, but certainly not great. I feel like Hughes and/or Jennings are probably about as good as David was. Plus, DB is probably the Colts deepest position. We still have a lot of talent on this team, and I feel like if we can get some more stability along the O line and the D line, things will fall into place.

Definitely...

I am holding out hope. I have no doubt we will hit stride, but I just hope it isn’t too late when it happens!
