Gbaja-Biamila
He was released by the Packers this weekend. I was wondering if anyone thought that he might be a good veteran player for Indy. Or are we so deep that there is no one worth dropping for him? He was solid for the Pack for a long time, but lost his job to Cullen Jenkins. My understanding is that he is a pass rusher type DE. Just curious if he intrigued anyone here or not.

Cullen Jenkins went on IR a few weeks ago
so KGB lost his job to Jenkins (no shame in that, he was tearing it up before the injury) and lost it again to Micheal Montgomery. He’s a speed rusher, but with Howard and Curtis Johnson on the roster I can’t see them going for a 5th pass rushing DE.

Says a lot
that a Packers team that’s been thin on the D line would flat-out release him.
And they released him to activate Justin Harrell. Remember Justin Harrell? Thank god we didn’t draft him (although I admit I adamantly wanted to at the time).

I wanted Harrell too
at least it’s been his health and not him sucking that’s been the problem.

so you want him to replace mathis or freeney? Or to share time with freeney so he doesn’t get his foot hurt again?

This is probably the last position on the team the Colts need more depth at.

It's the only one they've actually been healthy at
QBs: Peyton’s knee
RBs: Hart and Addai
WR: Roy Hall, hopefully not Reggie Wayne
TE: all four TEs on the roster
OL: Ugoh, Saturday, Lilja
DT: Muir, Pitcock, Big Ed
LB: Hagler
CB: Jackson, Hayden, Hughes, Coe, Rushing
S: Sanders

Don't forget about
Pollak at O-line. We have got to sign players that can stay healthy. I’ll take a decent player who plays every game than a good player who plays 7 games a year.

what would be the point of picking him up when the secondary sucks at giving the DL time to rush the QB?
Indy is fine at DE…the DBs just need to simply do their damn job and give Freeney, Mathis & Co time to get to the qb.

We have no need for another speed rush DE
