Half could've been better
But we’re leading. Now we just have to hold it. Manning has looked really good, but we need to get a more effective run game to set up that deep play-action pass.
Also, Tyjuan Hagler has looked solid IMO so far. Good to see him back. Any news on Lilja? Is he good to go but just benched or is he still hurt?

IR him then
our offensive line is doing decently without him and we could use the roster spot.. We don’t need to keep playing musical chairs with our 0-line

I disagree
With the injuries, you need all the depth you can get. If he’s healthy, he’s better than the other backups.

Dang
Although Johnson and Pollak haven’t been bad, I think Lilja is a better run blocker than they are.

please stop the pats
Please let’s have a quick stop at the start of the second half.
And what was up with the referees at the end of the first half? The more I see the more I think these guys are incompetent…

I still don't get that call.
There was 19 seconds left when the ball was snapped. A 10 second run-off would have still left 9 seconds. I don’t get it.
by TouchdownMonkey on Nov 2, 2008 9:41 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
The time really ran off
The clock operator stopped it, but the clock didn’t really stop, and the refs keeping the time claimed there was 10 or less left.

They didn't start the clock when Marv was downed in bounds
I can buy that it took 9 seconds for them to figure out he didn’t get out and get to the line.

Good game
Yes, it’s a good game and I’m glad we’re ahead, but I’m still concerned about only being able to muster up 7 points in a half. The offense needs to convert third downs!

I keep thinking
one of these weeks, something is going to kick in for the defense. Like maybe we’ll get a pass rush on the opposing quarterback, or maybe we’ll be able to stop the run. This is pathetic! Manning and company better go down and get 7 real quick or I’m going to be seriously pissed.

Wow, thankfully David Thomas is an idiot
I know they have no time outs, but still, 4th and 15?? The Colts haven’t ran the ball for anything, that’s just STUPID by Belichick.
We like Belichick doing stupid things.

4-4
It’s not fantastic by any stretch, our remaining road games suck, but there is no reason we don’t beat Cincy, Detroit, and Houston at home.

If it wasn't for
the personal foul call and the dropped pass which would have been a sure TD…..the Colts would have lost. That’s pretty bad, considering Brady’s not even playing. However, I’ll take the win! Go Colts!
