Half could've been better

But we’re leading. Now we just have to hold it. Manning has looked really good, but we need to get a more effective run game to set up that deep play-action pass.

Also, Tyjuan Hagler has looked solid IMO so far. Good to see him back. Any news on Lilja? Is he good to go but just benched or is he still hurt?

IR him then

our offensive line is doing decently without him and we could use the roster spot.. We don’t need to keep playing musical chairs with our 0-line

I disagree

With the injuries, you need all the depth you can get. If he’s healthy, he’s better than the other backups.

Although Johnson and Pollak haven’t been bad, I think Lilja is a better run blocker than they are.

I still don't get that call.

There was 19 seconds left when the ball was snapped. A 10 second run-off would have still left 9 seconds. I don’t get it.

by TouchdownMonkey on Nov 2, 2008 9:41 PM EST reply actions

The time really ran off

The clock operator stopped it, but the clock didn’t really stop, and the refs keeping the time claimed there was 10 or less left.

Shows that they lack faith in Addai

I’ve never been a Rhodes guy, but at this point I’d rather see him than Addai.

Not a huge fan of using the timeouts

It SHOULDN’T matter, but if the Pats managed to take the lead, I’d like to have that timeout.

4-4

It’s not fantastic by any stretch, our remaining road games suck, but there is no reason we don’t beat Cincy, Detroit, and Houston at home.

Long season, let’s get that card

Nice win guys, may keep wildcard prospects open

AFC East is now a 3 way tie – Pats, Bills, Jets. How screwed up is that?

Nice to see a win

I’m off, later guys. If we can’t get a pass rush against Pittsburgh next week though, I’ll be worried.

If it wasn't for

the personal foul call and the dropped pass which would have been a sure TD…..the Colts would have lost. That’s pretty bad, considering Brady’s not even playing. However, I’ll take the win! Go Colts!

hey the ball bounced good for us for once...

we have had more than our fair share of it bouncing the other way this season so far.

Go Colts!

by Marked Hoosier on Nov 2, 2008 11:19 PM EST up reply actions

You're right

Marked Hoosier, they should have gone for it. Just shows you what a ‘genius’ Belicheat is. Teams are going to get that yard 99 times out of 100 against the Colts D.
