Put it this way: If Tom Brady played every down after two summer knee surgeries, limped around for all of September, kept his injury-depleted team alive with some clutch plays, rounded into shape and improbably positioned his team as a sleeper contender, I'd be covered in body oil and sparkle right now. Peyton Manning has to be the MVP through 11 weeks. As Mike "I Wish I Could Go Back In Time And Talk Dog Out of Leaving" Francesa would say, that is a yooge, YOOGE job by Peyton Manning. Gotta hand it to him.

Amazing.
Simmons thinks this, yet there are some Colts fans who doubt it?

If it were up to me
I’d give the MVP award to Peyton every year.
Vinatieri Run
Interesting tidbit from the article: Vinatieri ran in a 2-point conversion in a 1998 game against the Bills. Can anyone find video of this? I tried looking through YouTube and NFL.com, but nothing came up.

wow! just WOW!
I think he realized his superbowl pick was as low as he could go and after they lost to cleveland AND cincinnati he rent to rehab! my what a little rehab can do for ones mind!
IM SHOCKED at his admittance!
now if only the rest of the sports media could wake up and realize shonn greene is the best college football running back in the nation and that he actually exsists I may JUST may have a little respect for the sports media.
It amazes me that so much of the media is drooling over Kurt “Best Receiving Corps in the League versus the Worst Division in the League, of course I’m playing Well” Warner and largely ignoring Peyton’s tough as nails season.
Just shows what a bandwagon jumping, ignorant fools most of the media are.
Peyton
I don’t mind saying it’s been one hell of a turnaround for you guys. Manning’s quite the comeback artist and deserves a lot of credit.
