With all this talk the past couple of days regarding Dungy both in Tampa and Indy, it got me thinking a bit more about it. Picture the following scenario. Peyton Manning hits Wayne on a 15 yard sideline route for a first down. Then, on the next play, Manning throws a short backfield pass to Addai, who starts to run, but then throws it to it back to Manning who hits Harrison in stride for a perfect TD pass of 25 yards. Then, after kicking the extra point, Vinatieri boots one deep and it's a touchback. The Indy defense takes the field, which consists of Kelvin Hayden, Booger McFarland, Derrick Brooks, Bob Sanders, Warren Sapp, John Lynch, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Gary Brackett, Ronde Barber, etc. and they have destruction in their eyes and they're out to allow absolutely ZERO points scored. Just thought it sounded interesting.

It is.
Actually, this fanpost is similar to one I’ve been thinking about doing the past couple of days. Only different.

thought about Dom
but he could barely get any carries behind Edge, what would happen with him behind Edge, Dunn and Addai?
The Staff might be more stocked than the team

Good Vinny over Good Vanderjagt or Gramatica?

Definitely no Grammatica
I’ve seen way too many missed field goals in clutch games. Just ask the Saints.
old grammatica..........he used to be called automatica

Hmmmmm
I must have missed that Martin Grammatica when he was in Tampa. My recollection was that he really missed a lot of field goals when the chips were on the line.
any additions you have?
You actually watched those Bucs. I just went by the Pro Bowls, years as a starter and stats of their PFR pages.

Actually, I did watch quite a few Bucs games
in person and on TV from 1985 through 2003. Martin Grammatica must have had decent numbers, but I just remember him missing some very important kicks which resulted in Bucs losses in big games. And, he seemed to get worse and lose confidence as he got older. And, he never could kick the ball deep on kick-offs. That was another thing I didn’t like. The ball would always seem to go to the 15 or 20 yardline on kick-offs from my recollection. And, of course good field position usually resulted.
Made it to the NFC pro bowl, he did suck starting 03 and so on
And I do recall Vinny missing some big kicks on the line too. For that case you can also include Vanderjagt…………..I dont want to argue with a fellow Colts fan. I hate kickers period.
