dawgs by nature

Just took a wander over to the Browns blog, Dawgs by Nature. It's worth checking out, there's a post called 'Sound Off - Who Do You Hate'. A lot of quite rightly pissed off Browns fans calling out the biggest culprits of their woeful season. For anyone who has issues with coach Dungy (cough, Jay16, Nideak), its worth reading so you can get some perspective of what a truly goddam awful coach is, ie Blowmeo Caramel. Unfortunately, it looks as if Derek Anderson will be back to the bench against us, but its not like their WR's can catch the ball anyway, so whoever's playing QB at present shouldn't be much of an issue. I'm looking forward to a colts win that doesn't cause me to have a small stroke.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

Or is it....

the sorta game that we should definately win, yet somehow let them gain massive yards and we fail to put up big numbers?….just a thought…as they say “no game in the NFL is a gimme”!?

The games we should win

are the ones that make me nervous.

I’m curious if their fanbase is still pissed at the Colts for screwing them out of the playoffs last year. haha

Yes, they are

Browns fans hate the Colts. The Dawg Pound will be feisty.

Most of the other fans do, regardless of the team

Well, maybe not hate. That’s kind of a strong word. But, they dislike having the Colts come into town because they know it’s most likely going to be a loss. Whenever the Colts are on their schedule, it doens’t matter what time of year it is, it’s always a playoff atmosphere. And, if the opposing team does manage a win, the fans celebrate like it’s the SB. Several AFC teams around the league, as I’m sure you know, specifically draft players strictly to counter the Colts offensive attack. I’m sure that was started when Peyton was peaking in the higher-number TD pass seasons, but still the opposing fans are always a little more ‘enthusiastic’ when they play the Cotls…..shall we say.

Wondering The Same

I was wondering the same thing. They really should get over that. It’s not our fault they couldn’t beat…who was it, Cincinnati?

Browns fan here. Still pissed? Admittedly, a bit. But as it has already been mentioned below, they failed to take care of business against Cincinnati in Week 16. It just hurts that a coach and overall team that I admire and respect, laid down against a sub-par Tennesee Titans team. That’s history though.

This weekend is a complete case of two teams heading in opposite directions. Our coach is serving the last 5 games of a lame duck tenure, Derek Anderson has fallen back into the starting QB job by way of Quinn’s season-ending injury, and our secondary can be picked apart with ease by Sage Rosenfels… Lord knows what Peyton will do.

You know Selig? Ombudsman.

For another bad coaching job, look at the Eagles

Something tells me that Andy Reid will be out of a job next season and so will McNabb.
