Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Looking ahead

I wish to put in a request to our game watchers here (shake, bbs, mgrex) to keep an eye on Pittsburgh on MNF tonite (i know, i know....just put him on mute). We play Pittsburgh next weekend and it's a game we can win in my opinion. Big Ben has been sacked 23 times not counting tonight of course. I'm hoping Mathis and Freeney put alot of pressure on him.  I want to know just how good they are. Lets start looking ahead, one game at a time.

That was really funny!

Nothing like putting funny music to someone getting the crap beat out of them.

Seeing that video,

I think the following.

1) Big Ben kept feeling the external pressure from the sides, then he’d run up through the pocket and into the sack. I’m curious how that will play into our defensive line pressure.

2) He took entirely too much time getting rid of the ball on some of those plays. Perhaps the coverage was good. As in no big cushions for the first ten yards?

3) If the Colts don’t pass rush better than they did last night, we’ll not see that duplicated.

The Eagles have a good secondary

and DTs but even without that game Ben is taking 2.5 sacks a game. The line is bad and he holds the ball forever.

Well then

Here comes our chance to get things on track in the pass rush department. After a good start, the past couple games were less than stellar. Tennessee is protecting Collins well, but last night concerned me some.
