Thursday Night Football-open thread

I don't have NFL Network, but I'll see how NFL.com's feed is and maybe pick up a P2P stream. There are wildcard implications of this one, but it's hard to know who to root for. The Browns aren't out of the wildcard race yet and a loss by the Broncos would let the Chargers pull even to them in the AFC West race.

Dan K the Browns fan at NES says no

they didn’t deserve the spot after losing to the Bengals to put themselves in that situation.

The NFLN studio guys are insisting that Anderson wasn't playing that badly

he was completing less than half his passes and has a sub 70 QB Rating

I've offically given up on the NFL.com feed

I’m not tolerating their studios guys talking about Brady Quinn being shown instead of the game. Looking for a P2P now.

Yeah, the NFL.com is worthless

I tried it once last year, very little of the game seems to be shown.

Unrelated, anyone know who the play-by-play is? I recognize the worthless Collinsworth, but the play-by-play is unfamiliar.

I've got a passible P2P

it’s too choppy to watch, but the Audio is solid and is on about the same delay as NFL.com gamecenter

Yeah

Even though I have NFL Network now, I’m still not a huge fan of these Thursday games. Although I am a sucker for NFL football.

The Browns play calling hurt them here

They threw the ball 14 times in the first half and ran for over 6 YPC.

Then with a 10 point lead they threw 12 times in the next 20 minutes.

gotta say

I love watching Jamal Lewis run. Those little stutter steps he does let him be so agile and he’s always looking for a way to gain a few more yards. I hope Addai is watching this game.

by jedye on Nov 6, 2008 10:59 PM EST reply actions

I hope he's not

Lewis is getting 3.4 a carry and that’s with a 29 yarder inflating the average. He’s average a drive killing 1.9 YPC without it.
