PacMan Jones's career possibly ended by injured neck rather than empty head
The neck injury suffered by Cowboys corner Adam "PacMan" Jones last Sunday will end his season and possibly his career.

hmm.
interesting, isn’t it?
disclaimer: I will never be happy about a player being injured.

yeah same
but this one gets a flat no emotion. If anyone deserves to be out of the league it’s him. Hopefully it’s a wakeup call to stop risking his career or if it is that serious it’s still a wakeup call and just the kind of injury that precludes him from colliding full speed with 300lb men not a daily life affecting injury.

Yeah.
It seems to me that someone is trying to tell him something…

I don’t think he should have been reinstated to begin with…

I agree with you.
You’ve heard of three strikes and you’re out regarding crime? Well, regarding incidents concerning NFL players, if I was the NFL commissioner, it would be ONE strike and you’re out.
much like the failure of 3 strikes and your out crime laws in the US,
I think a 1 strike and your out policy would be ridiculous.
The NFL needs to focus more on preventitive measures with troublesome players.
Punitive methods have been UNEFFECTIVE in sports dicipline.
The league needs to invest more time at showing impressionable young athletes how they should conduct themselves and be less concerened with retribution.
I saw Pacman on Hard Knocks writing his letter requesting reinstatement, it was a JOKE. Look at this guy, he’s uber talented but is in no way mature enough to handle the money and spotlight that comes with being a proffessional athlete. The NFL invests big money into these athletes to turn HUGE profits.

Good point.
I think it takes more than a week long rookie symposium to help them adjust.
