Stampede Blue Prediction Contest, Results Week 14, Link for Week 15

PrintWith only 3 weeks to go in the season, the Stampede Blue Prediction Contest has stayed pretty much the same from last week. The leaders all were within 1 game of each other last week. As far as Week 14 goes, we had 1 players get 11 correct picks last week, and it was a newbie to the contest, Hoosierdore. we also had 3 people get 10 correct, and they are:

- oldecoltsfan
Congratulations to all of you on the good week. The Predictor was over .500 this week at 9-7, and it is now at .505 (105-103). Overall on the week, Home teams had the best week going 12-4. This bucks the trend I talked about last week, and the Simmons article I linked as well. This included some big number covers from the Chargers, Colts, Titans, and Cardinals.

I really couldn’t live with myself if I wasn’t ahead of Simmons. I said I was drinking because of that speech I had (it went fine) but it was really because I was so disgusted with myself for not beating Simmons

a lot of lines where picking a side wasn’t hard, but I don’t feel good about the pick at all.
That TEN-HOU line is sickening, it looks so awful I have to take the Texans.

my Cowboys hate kept me off them

I definitely took the Giants
I think they were just distracted last week with all the Plaxico stuff, but this week they’re going to take out all their frustration on Dallas. I’ll be surprised if Dallas keeps it within 10.

Thursday Night Pick
After starting 2-0, I’ve gone 0 for 4 since Thanksgiving on the Thursday night games. I want to say Brees and the passing game will beat Chicago, but the weather’s expected to be cold and windy tonight. Oh, what the heck. I’m picking the Saints. Maybe they’ll hang on to those 2.5 points.
