[Edited] This poster really dislikes the Colts

Title edited by BBS. Enjoy.- BBS

You guys just can get over that the division is not ran by you and you guys are so worried that we are going to play our starters in week 17 that you have to come over to our blog and talk shit about comparing the teams past success, ye sure you guys have won a superbowl, sure you may have run the division for 5 years but now you don't so just shut up and hope you don't lose wildcard weekend. And anyone that wants to make an excuse about how in week 6 your team was not in sync, im sorry but it does not take a professional football team of 53 men 6 weeks to get in sync

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

Don't speak too soon

Nothing matters until the playoffs. We all may as well hold our tongues until then. Anything else is a waste of time.

Really?

I hate to chide another titan fan…but let’s keep it civil. At least show a little respect…although I’m not particulary fond of the Colts either.

Interesting

I know there have been a lot of idiot Colts fans that have said things like that to you guys, but there’s been plenty of you guys saying “OMG, THE COLTS SUCK BALLS THIS YEAR LOLROFL”

Both sides are certainly guilty in this pointless feud.

But...

its just a little rude to just flat out say eff the colts…just give a knowledgable opinion on why you disagree and keep it civilized. I’m not saying I don’t agree with you, I just with you’d disagree with a little more class. That’s all.

wow!

I don’t usually like to comment on spelling and grammar because we all spend less time proofreading than we should. However, that has to be one of the most poorly written posts I’ve read in a long time. Maybe Mr. Xfactor31 should stop worrying about football and take a remedial English class.

No worries hal

I think most of us over here realize that (hopefully). Like I said over at MCM, most Colts and Titans fans enjoy coherent and logical conversations. Clowns like this waste everyone’s time.

OMG, between the frankly worrying spelling and grammar and the absurdly stupid post of f*ck the colts, I think this guy is actually mentally retarded. If you insist on posting such banality (you can look that big word up in a dictionary you dumb fuck) keep it on your own fansite.

by scottishcoltsfan on Dec 11, 2008 11:58 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I for one...

Congratulate Tennessee for a stellar year. Colts fans are all too familiar with what it’s like to have a team that under performs and fails to live up to expectations. Thankfully, since Peyton Manning’s second year we’ve had the luxury of having strong season records and for the last five years we’ve controlled the division. This year it is clear that Tennessee did what needed to be one to win the division, this division one or any division. So… congratulations.

As for the discussion of cockiness… if Tennessee fans are foolishly using this season as ammunition for arguments that the Titans have always been as good as the Colts or to suggest that the Titans have now “passed the Colts” in the division, insinuating that the Titans not only won the division this year but are now squarely in position to own it… well that’s just silly. The Titans have managed to win the division in the Colts worst year statistically in years… almost the worst in a decade. It’s obvious to all in the league that the defense started sluggish, the offense needed some time to develop its timing, and that it wasn’t until nearly halfway through the year the Colts were able to get things going. If the Colts were still in the same division as the Patriots and if Brady had the same health issues Manning did this year, if the Patriots controlled the division for five years, and we won the division… we’d not be saying… “that’s right… we’ve always been better than the Patriots… this proves we’ve passed them and now control the division.” We’d be happy with the win and confident that moving forward we could continue competing for the division but not taking a position or attitude that we were now the “team to beat.” In order to start talking like that you have to do what that Colts were capable of doing over the last 5 years… consistently win the division. It’s a bit early for all the chest beating for future years. That’s all I’m saying.

Beyond that… Tennessee fans… I say bring it. I hope we both play starters week 17 though it’s unlikely that will happen. If not, I thoroughly hope we have the opportunity to face eachother in the playoffs. No disrespect, you have a strong team, but I am not “afraid” of the Titans. I respect you. But I certainly don’t fear you or think your team is “clearly better than ours.” If you think that is the case, that is your prerogative but I think the rosy colored glasses are a bit thick.

So… congratulations again. Here’s to a continuing division rivalry and to the hope that we meet for an all AFC South playoff game. May the best team win… week 17 and in the playoffs :)

by bamock on Dec 12, 2008 3:39 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

I'm sorry

But calling the Titans a rival is a joke. They’re in our division, that’s about it. From a ‘worrying about an opposing team in the playoffs standpoint’, they’re not even a gnat on my ass. I can’t stand the Patriots, but they’re actually worthy of being called a rival, not the pathetic Titans. We’ll destroy again in a couple of weeks and probably again in the playoffs and this ridiculous issue will be over.

SERIOUSLY ASSHOLES

UNLESS YOU PUT ON THE PADS AND PLAY ON SUNDAY, YOUR OPINION (EITHER WAY) MEANS SH#T.

I think its funny you have the time to talk shit over somthing you have no control over. Root for your team, they are going to do whatever they do regardless of your pointless crap talk. If this is the case of how the world works, I would like to submit the following:

“Mother Nature, you’re my bitch. I didn’t rain today, and I had outdoor plans.”

“That’s right state of the economy, I still have a job today! Snap!”

“Up yours influenza, I haven’t been sick all year.”

Get a grip. The bottom line is this. Historically the Colts have ben the better team. The Titans are now better than they once were. Good for both! Here’s the deal message board full of Nostradamuses, be a fan, don’t be an asshole, and realize no matter how many posts you place here, some other board, or anywhere else….the teams will play on Sunday and one team will win. Just hope its yours. Be humble and enjoy.

Get a grip.

Colts fan.

an entire new link....

Now needs to be dedicated to dead words of the English language that must now resurface in only Stampede Blue messages. I, for one, would say “here, here” to this type of post chaps. I shall now imbibe and partake in revelry and carousing with various women for the sake of a Friday evening. When I mean women, I mean my wife. When I say “revelry and carousing” I mean sitting and watching tv.
