Ok so I got a question, forgive me if it's a dumb one.
Colts are now 10-4, 2-2 in the division, 8-2 in the conference, and 0-1 against the Titans.
Titans are now 12-2, 4-1 in the division, 8-2 in the conference, and 1-0 against the Colts.
Now lets say the Colts win out, and the Titans lost out.
Colts are now 12-4, 4-2 in the division, 10-2 in the conference, and 1-1 against the Titans.
Titans are now 12-4, 4-2 in the division, 8-4 in the conference, and 1-1 against the Colts.
Now am I missing something??? Did I figure something wrong, because I'm having an idiot moment if I did make a mistake, because I can't see how they've clinched? Please help me in my moment of confusion!

The tie breaker that will be used...
is record vs common opponents. If both teams win out, the Colts record vs. common opponents will be 9-3 and the Titan’s will be 10-2. The Walt Coleman screw job is going to hurt.

Doesn't make any sense.
If both teams win out, the Titans will be 14-2 and the Colts will be 12-4 and there is no tie??? Now I’m more lost.

he meant if the titans lose out and colts win out, in which case we tie at 12-4.
Like he said, they have us on the common opponents. the conference record won’t matter

Funny.
I just asked this question in another post. Thanks for clearing it up. Nice to know that a ref can screw us out of a division…
I was racking my brain last night to figure out what I was missing.

Right I think this is b.s.
I think it should go to the conference first, before common games.
