Great Article on Tony

There is a great article on Tony Dungy written by Dan Wetzel from Yahoo.

His 135-69 record in 13 NFL seasons ranks him 18th all time in total victories. This should be his 11th playoff appearance, and his Colts have now won 10 or more games in all seven of his seasons in Indy.

It’s more than that, though. Former players swear by him like almost no one else in the league. His assistants are fiercely loyal: In seven years, only three members of his staff have left for any reason.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

If this really is Dungy's final season

I hope the Colts make it to and win the Super Bowl since it’ll be held in Tampa were Dungy got his first head coaching job. How could there be a better way for a Hall of Fame coach to leave the game than to be the 1st African-American head coach to win TWO Super Bowls and doing it were his career started.

Speaking of Tony,

The Zombie Brothers over at 18to88.com have a great post about Coach Dungy. Check it out.

Dungy/Manning

During one of the games over the weekend, there was stat displayed talking about the most wins for a coach/QB combo. Belichick/Brady was one of the top 3. Does anyone know where Dungy/Manning rank? I missed the first part of the discussion so I’m not sure.
