that's the playoffs baby
Two things:
First, massive shout out to the D. After getting totally crushed for 3 quarters, they stood up and made just awesome plays in the 4th quarter to eventually win us the game. Unbelievable effort right there.
Secondly, can you say MVP. Please, do not tell me Peyton is not winning this award, that was a wicked good game. I'm betting that those jags fans over at rivercityrage who were calling Peyton the most over-rated QB ever are looking a bit sheepish right now, cause he just killed your team!
GO HORSE!!!

This post is right on
Peyton carried the team 3 quarters and then he co-carried the team with the defense the last quarter. Props to the D for not giving up after playing terrible most of the game. He should definitely finish in the top 3 in MVP voting, if not win it.
I have serious doubts that with no running game and a defense that bends a lot the Colts will get deep into the playoffs, but you never know what will happen with a man like P. Manning at the helm. GO COLTS!

MVP
Well I’d put money that a manning will win MVP. I think if eli puts on a show on sunday, he will win it but peyton put up a serious case tonight. Look at the situation, both teams have had serious injury, lots of distractions, carried a lot of adversity, and both are the one consistant force on each team. Like wow, especially if the giants win sunday, there is a serious chance that we are seeing a manning bowl in feburary. And an MVP trohpey. I don’t think Tom Brady likes these guys too much. But hey, who likes tom brady. He tried to beat up my english teachers son for stealing his girlfriend in high school (true story, but brady never fought him)
According to the comminsioner of the nfl, 104 people retired last year. 7 due to age, and the rest because of Patrick Willis

sweet video
Here’s the NFL.com compilation video of Peyton’s night.
My boy Anthony “Hey baby, you wanna come over and check out my altitude tent?” Gonzalez made 4 catches for 38 yards, but two on this video were TOUGH.
Also, how much of Peyton’s performance today do you think was related to having a not-washed-up receiver lining up on the right side? Is this what could have been all season?

The bottom line
is that we would have beat them with Harrison playing or without Harrison playing. As long as Manning is in there throwing, defenses simply can’t stop him. It doesn’t matter who is voted in as MVP, because to me, I know Peyton IS the MVP. This is what he’s been doing for years, carrying a team that has had a less than stellar defense. However, Ratliff’s interception, Freeney and Mathis’ pressure were huge towards the end. Let’s put four quarters of that together from now on!
