Colts-related fantasy anecdote
Back in week 2 against the Vikings, Tim Jennings had his first career sack and I was 2-0, having won my game by just under a point...or so we thought. Four days later, the NFL decided that it was not a sack, rather, Tarvaris Jackson had run for a loss of a couple yards. Jennings loses his sack and I lose my game by .02 points. While it sucked, it was so early in the year that I couldn't get too pissed about it.
Fast forward to now, end of the regular season, and my league's top 6 teams are all 8-5. We award $100 for the regular season champ and so whoever scored the most points ended up winning that money (we have another $100 for playoff champ). So in the end, that sack correction ended up costing me $100 and some bragging rights. Awesome.

Poor Jennings, poor you
Last I checked, a QB run for a loss of yards is the DEFINITION of a sack.
No...
If you have a QB like Garrad or Tavaris Jackson or Ben Roethlisberger or Matt Cassell, etc… and the stat keeper determines that the play call was 100% a QB draw/sneak/run whatever, then a tackle for a loss is a tackle for a loss. Its only a ‘sack’ if the person taking the snap has any intention (in the mind of the stat keepers) of throwing the ball is tackled for a loss.
I lost because of Desean Jackson in week 2
Acting like a dumbass and throwing a touchdown to the ground. Now my team is 6-7, 1 spot out of the playoffs in an 8-team $25/person league.
If I don’t win this week and get some help I’ll be out of it, and I will never ever draft Desean Jackson ever. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
