Uh oh, Colts' sign someone..
According to Mike Florio (ducks to avoid the tomato that was chucked at his head) the Colts' have signed Najeh Davenport. I hope this says more about the health of Chad Simpson than the health of Addai...
No word on who the colts had to cut/release/ir to make the move, will post (or someone else will) when I know.

DEUCE.
Wow, I get 3 weeks of dick jokes at BHGP (Iowa is playing South Carolina) and now the Colts are picking up Deuce Davenport. My inner 12 year old is ecstatic.

Addai got back into the game after he went down
I’m thinking (hoping) it’s Simpson, even those losing ANOTHER return man would suck. Deuce returned some kicks for PIT, but he’s not well suited to it.

Indy Star
reported that Simpson is questionable against the Lions…
Dungy was optimistic that running back Joseph Addai (shoulder) will be available Sunday but less bullish on two others who were injured against the Bengals: defensive tackle Eric Foster (pinched nerve) and backup running back/kick returner Chad Simpson (ankle).
Which also bums me out…I like Simpson. Good kick returner from what I saw.

Forsett
Always reminded me of Troy Walters as a return man (I know Troy didn’t return kick offs…) in that he was safe, wasn’t going to fumble, but wasn’t going to return one far, either. I know Simpson had yet to return one, but boy, you could feel that it was going to happen (and get called back for holding/illegal block to the back, no doubt) sooner or later. And he seemed to take care of the ball pretty well, too. I think we may have made a mistake letting Forsett go at first, but it turned out all right in the end.
In case anyone doesn't know what we are all referencing with the jokes

In light of this news, I'd like to reopen the proposal...
to bring back… CRAPHANSO!
Someday a little boy will ask his grandfather, "Gramps, did you really take a dump in a girl's closet?"
Think of him as the fiber in our offensive play menu. There’s the steak of a finely marbled stretch play, and of course the bread and butter that is 18 to 88, 87, 11, 44. A couple runs are the appetizer to set the D up for the play-action bread and butter. But sometimes you get down to the 4 yard line and the D is all stacked up. Running lanes are clogged or, dare I say it, constipated? This is no joke—that can be painful. The solution: send in the fiber to loosen things up from turd and goal.
Sorry, just doing my doodie.

the description of Deuce I heard while he was still in PIT
was something like “I’ve never seen a guy look more like a powerback and run less like one”
