Jake Scott signed by the Titans

What has viewed as ridiculous by Colts fans, has indeed become a reality - The Titans sign yet another Colts player.

With this rate, they should be able to have signed enough ex-colts to be considered SB contenders by 2014.

The Titans signed Jake Scott to a 4-year almost 5 million dollar a year deal. It will be interresting to see how he performs in a totally diffrent system, and blocking for a totally diffrent QB.

Good luck to Jake Scott, even though he is now playing against us :)

Thanks!
As a Titans fan I would like to say thanks once again to the best feeder program in the NFL. The Colts are always producing outstanding pro's and we are more than thankful to be able to pick them up when you can't keep them. As far as this being ridiculous I don't see how signing talent from one of the NFL's elite is ridiculous. But whatever makes you sleep at night. Thanks again, and GO TITANS!
Someone once said "Vince Young bleeds Titan Blue!" But I disagree, Because the Great One DOESNT bleed!

Colts vs Colts 2008
Believe me, if he was let go we've determined him to be replaceable so I wouldn't get to excited just yet. Can't wait for the first Colts vs Colts 08 game.... I mean Colts vs Titans game.
IN POLIAN I TRUST

The issue
Is that the Titans keep paying former Colts wayyyyyy too much money! Five million a year is a ton of money for a guard. If you guys really want him then you can have him. There is no way I would want to pay that much money for Scott. Besides Lilja is a lot better so we made the right decision in keeping him.

With scott gone
We definatily have to draft an interior O-linemen maby not earily but we really need one.

I appreciate it!
I will surely take him. He is more proven than Jacob Bell ( our former guard who just signed for 6 million per year with the Rams ) I look at it this way, we got a better player for less money. Sounds solid to me!

very true
when you put it that way, Titans made a great signing today. I'm not sure what your needs are in the draft but that addressed one and freed up a pick. Not too shabby for Fischer and Co.
