Rhodes

Rotoworld is reporting Dominic Rhodes has restructured his contract and will stay with the Raiders for 2008. His cap number got restructured to only cost the Raiders 1.75 million which is much cheaper than the 3 million he was owed. I don't know why they worried about lowering his cap number with the amount of money they have spent on unproven talent this whole offseason.Too bad he didn't get released I would have liked to have had Rhodes back with us this year.

I Think Everyone Here Knows My Dislike for Him
But restructuring his contract was a smart thing to do.  He was given a contract that was way too big for him, and now he is getting one more suitable for his skill level.  I wouldn't want him back here, as he frustrated me with his ability or lack thereof of making big plays and running after contact, but I would like him to succeed in Oakland.  That's mostly because it would make him the first Colts player to leave and have great success.

Yeah
Since the mass exodus of players that everyone in the media thinks will kill the team when every intelligent fans know it won't have an effect.  See last year.

Colts' free agents
The Colts are similar to the Patriots in that there's such an assemblage of talent, everyone looks better in comparison. No one is better on any other team than they are with the Colts.

I guess the Colts
will just have to use their second round pick on Chris Johnson, oh well.
