Gumbel Steps Down

Play-by-play announcer Bryant Gumbel has stepped down from his duties of calling games for NFL Network. Many fans, like myself, think he is arrogant and never should have been calling games. Bryant would often stumble his speech(he called Tony Romo "Rick Romo") and has made racist comments in the past as well.

When speaking about the Winter Olympics Gumbel said,"Count me among those who don't care about them and won't watch them... So try not to laugh when someone says these are the world's greatest athletes, despite a paucity of blacks that makes the winter games look like a GOP convention."

Bye, Bryant. You will not be missed.

Good Riddance Gumball!
I can't stand that guy. I don't know how he carries that ginormous ego around..he doesn't look that strong. Now his brother Greg...classy guy. I can't say enough not-nice things about Bryant...racist egotistical idiot. Good Riddance!

A thought...
It's great that Gumball is gone (I hope he isn't doing a lateral move, and just going to ESPN or something). Here's a question: how much better would the NFL landscape be if, in addition to getting rid of Gumball, we saw the end of Tony Kornholer?

(Picky goes to bed with sweet, sweet dreams).

One can only dream.
Then again, he followed the irritating Joe Theisman and filled those shoes all too well. Maybe the next guy will be more of the same. Then the dream will be a nightmare.

Wish
Tony Kornholer was gone. He just bugged the heck out of me with his love affair with the Patriots last season. I thought he was Gisele in drag (yes, she is capable of growing a beard too :D)
