My friend who is a ER attending (and a Geek) at St. Vincent was invited at the now Peyton Manning Children hospital opening ceremony.  He arrived a little late right when everybody was being introduced to Peyton and Eli (yes,he was there too).  Thinking that Peyton was a doctor, my friend asked him about where he works and how busy his schedule is :-)  . Peyton was confused a bit but responded in general terms. My friend (Dr. Syed Hakim) was about to move on to other guests when he was nudged and pulled aside by one of his collegues and was told who Peyton was ;-)   as simple as he is, he went to Peyton, apologized and told him he is not into sports much...   Can you believe this!!  He said both brothers (Mannings) and other guests who heard him were hysterical. They laughed and laughed.    Peyton shook his hands again, and said it's OK and chatted with him for about 5-10 minutes about the Hospital and his work.   My friend said Peyton seem very genuine and confident.      He still does not watch sports though..  he says he has no time.  I m still made at him for how lucky he is and how he doesn't know it.
