WR available?

I know everyone is excited about our young talent at WR.  However, if a decent option were to become available at WR, would we be interested?  No, I'm not referring to Terry Glenn.  What do you guys think about Eric Parker?  He can return punts and kickoffs and would be a decent option as a #4 WR should one of young guys falter or just not look good.

Parker didn't play in 07 but here's his receiving stats:

Anyways, it looks like he might be available.  What does everyone think?

Not interested

I don’t think it would improve us at all. I’d rather let someone like Hall or Garçon or Giguère earn that roster spot and develop than have a guy who we already know is pretty much limited.

For those of you who think

I’m nuts for comparing Harrison to Glenn, it looks like an actual CB who has covered both thinks Glenn is better.

He was asked who was the toughest receiver he’s ever had to cover. His answer: “Terry Glenn,” which led to another question. Rob (Boston): Terry Glenn? Really? You’re just saying that. Terence Newman: Nah, he’s one of the toughest receivers I have ever faced. He comes out of his breaks better than anybody in the league. He has cat-like quickness. He just understands the game.

His teammate, right

call me convinced.

Harrison won a poll SI did a few years back of CBs on who the hardest guys to cover are.

I got Summer hatin' on me cuz I'm hotter than the sun
Got spring hatin' me cuz I ain't never sprung
Winter hatin' on me cuz I'm colder than y'all
And I will never, I will never, I will never fall

It doesn't matter

what all the CB’s said then. a Dallas CB spoke for Glenn, so that trumps everything. It’s useless, Mr. Shake. Just concede now.

yeah, its obvious Newman didn't vote for Harrison

regardless, Newman is an honest guy. I just posted it to prove I’m not the only person who thinks Glenn has HOF talent and ability as many have claimed on this site.

Good point

Obviously if a raging Cowboys fan and a Cowboys player agree that another Cowboys player is an amazing player, it must be true. Regardless what everybody else thinks. It’s so obvious.

It's that obvious in Terry's mind.

Just remember, Terry is Terry Glenn, so this is self defense.

By the way, why “Cow of Pain”? Just curious.

Yes and in other news ...

Kelvin Hayden just said that Reggie Wayne is the easiest receiver in the league to cover … I certainly believe a player from the defense on the same team, because they play each other how many times a year ?? Oh wait ….
