Four More Weeks

Today is Thursday 7/3/2008 just think in four weeks it will be game time. On 8/3/2008 the Colts take on the Redskins at Canton,OH. I'm eager to see the team in action and get a feel of how the new faces are going to play out. This is my first FanPost so I hope I'm doing it right, with that said I was just curious how others feel the team is going to do.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

Thanks for the reminder

A good reason to make your first post. A month out, here’s what I’m looking forward to in the first preseason game, and on through training camp: (1) Clint Sessions, Phillip Wheeler and Ramon Guzman and any other backers getting some extended time and stepping up, because Hagler might miss through at least the Chicago game with his torn pec; (2) the development (or failure) of Charlie Johnson in the face of Mike Pollak’s challenge for the open guard position; (3) whomever of the Waiter, Roy the Beast Hall, Giguere and the Aroma plays into (or out of) the 4th WR slot.

You said you’re curious what fans feel the team is going to do. My view, a month out of the first exhibition: anything less than appearing in the AFC championship game will be a disappointment. I’ve said 12-4 before, and I still think so, though 11-5 or 13-3 wouldn’t surprise me.

The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in the stars, but in ourselves.

My View

With Hagler’s injury and not really knowing how much if any limitation Freeney might have recovering from his foot injury and nobody knows what might become of Marvin even if he is playing there still is a question about his knees.
After reading about the new faces and the rest of the team healthy I would venture to say a 12-4 season and the AFC championship isn’t out of the scrope of the season.
The speed of this seasons Colts team is what’s going to be the rest of the teams in the NFL’s downfall, the speed and the team getting healthy through this season is why I pick them to bring home another ring this season.
