Rushing Projections

I found a fantasy football site that did the predictions for the upcoming season, and they made some mistakes, but it was good overall.  I think that it was crazy of them to predict 16 Addai touchdowns, especially if Hart is used as we expect he will be.  Here are my predictions, and I believe the Colts will score a lot on the ground this upcoming year.  Please don't delete this one.  I'm not sure what is going on with all of my posts being deleted.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

It isn't me

I can only hide peoples fan posts. Yours are flat out disappearing. If a you are going to delete someone’s fan post you should at least give a reason.

I hadn’t remembered how huge Mungro was in 2002 with Edge hobbled and Dom out. He had 8 TDs to James’ 3 that year.

I would like to see Addai around 240 carries. More than 2006, less than last year. The Colts RBs carried the ball 420 times last year. So with 240 to Addai that leaves 180 for Dom/Hart. I’d split it 130-50 Dom-Hart. Hart deserves more carries than Clifton Dawson got last year (30) and Dom isn’t a great runner anymore. His job is to be a solid fit in the system who allows the offense to run normally while Addai is on the sidlelines not being abused into ineffectiveness.

It's Weird

I think it is probably a glitch in the system or something.

idk what it is but

I think it will be a great year on the ground for the colts i think they will be more commited to running the ball

I Agree

I see us running the ball at least 475 times next year with the possibility of more. Last year, Peyton threw the ball way too much in some games (see San Diego) because Addai was hurt and Keith was not performing. With Rhodes and Hart, we should see a solid running game go with the pass.

i know this is off subject

but training camp is coming up soon and we haven’t signed any of our rookies should we be concerned???

We never sign rookies in early July. I would doubt non-1st rounders would hold out anyways. They’ll all be there.

Threatened

No one here is “threatened” by anything anyone does. If someone were to come along and have a great Colts website with tons of fun, interactive Colts stuff, I certainly would not feel “threatened.” The point of this site is to build a Colts fan community, not pad hit counts. I could pull a myriad of stunts to pad my hit counter, but that’s not what this is about. So no, I am certainly not threatened or concerned with anything Colt Homer writes. If anything, I’m very happy. With fans like him blogging, there’s more Colts fan presence on the web. Before Stampede Blue there was nothing.

That said, Fan Posts with one or two sentences with have links back to another site is akin to spam. The Fan Post is not about enhancing the content on this site. It’s about pulling viewers from here to someplace else. I don’t do that on Naptown’s Finest, 18 to 88, or any other Colts fan site.

Why? Because it’s rude.

Spamming my site to push viewers to another will get you an automatic ban on most SB Nation sites. If Colt Homer had done this on MHR or Bleeding Green Nation, he’d likely get banned without warning. If given Colt Homer such warnings, and they were ignored. So, like anything else, I’ve begun deleted Fan Posts that are akin to spam. This is nothing personal against Colt Homer. I love his work, his site, and most of his Stampede Blue contributions.

But, this spamming stops. Now.

I’m happy to plug Naptown content and Colt Homer’s writing, but Stampede Blue will not be a portal or a spam host for Colt Homer’s site. I’ve cut him much more slack than anyone else, and now that slack has run out. Love you work Colt Homer, but your comments and Fan Posts must contribute to this community, not solely exist to pull this community to yours.

I did

I just wanted others who might not think it a joke to know that I very much enjoy any kind of Colts blogging. Some see other blogs as competition. I don’t. The more Colts blogs, the merrier.
