Back from vacation
I took a week and change off to re-fuel and re-load in time for Training Camp in three weeks. A special thanks to mgrex30 and shake n bake for holding down the fort. I've spent the last few hours catching up on site content, and for a supposedly "dead" time for NFL football, the articles from these two are first rate. These guys covers areas of the team and league I, quite frankly, suck at. I'm not ashamed, afraid, or threatened to admit that. If anything, they'll make me better, and vice versa.
That's why we're here.
I missed you all. Even Terry. Glad to be back. Got lots of great stuff to update you on, from Fantasy Football sponsored by AOL to training camp news. Stay tuned.

I'm looking forward to the new Fantasy Football
I’ve seen it mentioned on a couple other SB Nation sites, but don’t know any specifics yet.
Also, I’ll be starting my fantasy football previews probably next week, so everyone that plays in our league will know all of my secrets to finishing in 5th place every year.

Good FF Site?
I’m looking for a good (and free) fantasy football site. In past years I’ve tried Yahoo!, Fox, and CBS, but all leave me wanting something better. Was thinking about using the NFL.com one, but I’ve heard it’s identical to CBS. So is the one through AOL worth a try or is there something else that you guys use?

Fleaflicker
It looks like my keeper league on the Fleaflicker website might have a couple of openings though I won’t know for a couple weeks. Let me know if you might be interested.

Really?
Fleaflicker was just bought by AOL and the league I’m to create will be a Stampede Blue league through Fleaflicker.

awesome
I’ve done a Fleaflicker league the past two seasons and have no complaints so far. I’m definitely in whenever you start it up. How are you going to set up the scoring?

I lost the Championship Game last year
because I didn’t know Donald Driver was sitting out week 17. Oh, well winning because the autodraft took Brady would’ve kind of spoiled it.
I’m really looking forward to another shot at it. Hopefully without having an interest in Tom Brady playing well this time.
I got game like EA
but I wanna let you play

would like to know your thoughts on this comment from catcountry blog
The Colts offseason of great concern continues. They’ve been hit hard by the injury bug, and it isn’t even August yet.
Strong Safety Bob Sanders and DE Dwight Freeney will probably be starting training camp on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list.
Colts LB Tyjuan Hagler also will be on the PUP list after a recent pectoral injury he suffered during strength training.
Hagler was expected to be a starter this season, and his injury stings, however, the more telling story is Dwight Freeney. He still isn’t healthy enough to perform, and although all the Colts’ are saying he’ll be back for the season opener, I have my doubts. One thing is for certain, he won’t be the same beast this year.
hit hard???? is this guy really that misinformed that he thinks bob sanders and freeney by missing camp are going to be missing during the season as well. hagler is an unfortunate injury but I believe the colts will actually be the strongest coming into a camp in the last few years. I also think freeney will be a even bigger force when he comes back. this to me is wishful thinking on part of his blog but hardly true

just trying
to convince himself his jags could win the division. It won’t happen but that’s probably his reasoning.

nowhere
Nowhere was it said that they were going to miss the season. I swear, the sensitivity around injury reports and Colts players is out of this world lately. There are more LisFranc orthopedic surgeons and rehab therapists on the internet right now than ever before. That’s the only way I can understand the unrelenting optimism that Dwight Freeney will be back better than ever after undergoing a fairly complicated surgery.
Like I said on here elsewhere, isn’t the Marvin Harrison injury experience of last season enough to make people a little more cynical about injury reports and what the front office has to say about them? Polian is a smart guy, no matter what the reality is, he wants opposing teams to start gameplanning for Sanders/Freeney until the last possible second rather than having the slightest indication of something bad happening with either player.
While it might be false hope on the part of my site to note the injuries, is it completely unrealistic and innappropriate to wonder if this will have some sort of effect on the team?

There's a distinct possibilty
That Colts weren’t lying about Marvin’s knee and really thought he’dve been back before he was. If you think they were just blatantly duplicious so teams would have to prepare for Marvin just in case, you need to remove the tinfoil cap and wake the fuck up kid.
There is nothing to be cynical about. Marvin hurt his knee and it didn’t heal as fast as they thought. It’s not like he shattered his entire leg and they were trying to say he’d play.
