Another QB questionable
Well, Colts' fans, it would appear as though we are not the only ones freaking out about the status of our most beloved quarterback.
It seems the Pats' fans are beginning to feel the pressure...
Check this link out from Reiss's pieces ( I particularly enjoyed the discussion):
http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/2008/08/should_we_be_wo.html
If memory serves, some of those fans busted our chops about Peyton...
It's interesting when the shoe's on the other foot...no pun intended.
Hmmmmm.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

There's no question
That both QB’s will start.
Hasn’t Brady had a sore elbow for about 3 years now?

I've Said All Along
If Tom Brady were to bomb a homeless shelter, and Peyton Manning gave the eulogy and made a grammatical error, Peyton would become the most hated man in the world, and Tom Brady would be given an award for taking care of the homeless.
It’s the same thing in this situation. Brady is fine, but Peyton is crippled.

Brady
like Manning will star and be fine opening day. Brady has had a shoulder injury going on 3 yrs now - injury reporting is an artform not an actuality. Any true Pats fan knows that Brady is fine as any true Colts fan knows Manning will not miss the season opener — in a new stadium to boot. Ladanian Tomlinson does not participate in preseason games and his status is never questioned — and he produces like a mf’er. Drama, Drama, and more Drama — sports reporting is going the way of sh*tty soap operas and bad reality shows(if there are any good ones)

I hope you're right
Seriously. I hope they both start in the season openers. I would hate to beat a Brady-less team, just as I’m sure you would hate to lose to a Manning-less Colts team. LOL
At any rate, as much as I dislike the Pats (and some of its fans), I would never wish (or be happy) if a player were injured.
The media this year is driving me absolutely friggin’ nuts. I mean between the Brett soap opera and Peyton’s knee and now Brady’s ankle. This seems to me to be the longest preseason EVER!

I have no doubt
that Brady is perfectly fine. I’m sure he had some super model to take out over the weekend and so he didn’t want to make the trip.
But how the Colts organization handled Marvin last year, I just hope Manning isn’t be handled the same way. I do think that Manning is such a warrior that he will start no matter what and play through the pain until we have a nice lead at the very least.

Yes
they will have a hard time keeping him off the field. I would prefer he not play if he’s in pain…why risk something worse happening?
