Crossett will probably get released and then picked back up Thursday morning. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest stayed since we’re hurting so bad. Cuts don’t have to be made until the 30th if I’m correct?

The 30th is the cutdown to 53, today or tomorrow teams need to cut down to 75 I believe….

I just read on ESPN that it is down to 75 by tomorrow. By my count the Colts have 81 players on the roster right now.

They are required by league rules to cut down to 75 today. And they can’t have 81 active players. Only 80. What will likely happen is Tom Santi will get put on inactive PUP, meaning he can’t play for another 6 weeks. Peyton will get activated off PUP, along with Ryan Lilja.

Bradley, really?

How did he play when he was in? It seemed like he did okay.

And they can’t really cut anyone and pick them back up the next day, as someone suggested, without dropping someone else, right? They have to STAY down to 75 tomorrow and 53 on the 30th.

Injuries and being cut

I can’t remember if its the PUP or the active IR but it is one of them to where you can put players on it that won’t count against the roster but they have to either be able to play the sixth or eighth week and then of course someone would have to be cut then to keep to the 53 man roster.

A lot of teams do this so they can bring new players in to have a look see and it not count against the roster.

PUP

It has to be a player that has been on the PUP list since the opening of camp. If they’ve practiced they can’t go on the PUP.

PUP

I knew there was one of them that they can take the players that haven’t practiced put then on it, bring other players in to see if they are good enough up to the sixtn or eighth week and if the players that were on it still can’t preform they have to go and stay there the rest of the season.
