Peyton Manning will practice tomorrow

From the Indy Star:

Peyton Manning is expected to participate in a full-squad practice for the first time Tuesday, the next step in his recovery from knee surgery.

The Indianapolis Colts quarterback has been on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing July 14 surgery on his left knee to remove an infected bursa sac.

Coach Tony Dungy said today the plan is to remove Manning from the PUP list, which would make him eligible to practice.

Still no update on Jeff Saturday's injury, or the status of several other players, but DAMN this is good news to read. Tip to psvirsky for Fan Posting the news.

Injuries

I listened to the audio clip of Polian sounding very down anout the injuries. But, it seems to me like most of the injuires that have popped up are minor. I know I saw Brock, Mathis, Keiaho, Big Ed, Wheeler and Curtis Johnson on the side line for last night’s game. I don’t think any of them would’ve been there had any of the injuries been that bad. I didn’t see Pollack or Howard though anyone see these guys on the sidelines??

IN POLIAN I TRUST

Great news but

We need a solid o-line to keep that knee from harm, so the news on Saturday is much more important to me.

With Gray's blow up last night

I officially have zero confidence in any of the backups

i think the loss of saturday is HUGE. let’s hope it’s not anything serious… it’s my huble opinion that jeff saturday is the third most important factor in the colts’ success aside from peyton and bob sanders. much like manning is an extension of tom moore on the field, the same could be said about saturday and howard mudd. this stinks.

But again

Saturday’s injury looked minor and I think it was just a matter of pulling him away to prevent damage. It will be devastating to lose Saturday but as of now it doesn’t seem to be the case. He should be fine and until we hear otherwise im not concerned.

There is a god! Or satan if this is just a sick joke. : (

We Colts fans did not pay $720 million dollars in public funds to build a brand new stadium that will get opened on Sunday Night Football by Jim Friggin Sorgi.
