Sure the completion percentage is higher and he has less interceptions but you don’t win games with those stupid little dump off passes. I hate them. I really, really hate them. In the Colts offense you have to throw down field to be successful. Sorgi cannot do this. Note the absence of a touchdown pass. Even Jared “This aint no shot put” Lorenzen managed 2 touchdowns. All 3 backups disappoint me. Also I still haven’t given up on Gray. I don’t recall if he has played with the first team at all during the preseason. Why they gave the first half to Lorenzen is beyond my understanding. If Gray had been playing with first team receivers then the multiple tipped passes by the backup wide receivers wouldn’t have become interceptions and Gray’s rating would be the highest. Gray is still the better quarterback, but being the best of the worst is still not good enough.
