Any bars in Chicago?
Is there any sort of place in Chicago area, preferably in the City and close to public transportation, to watch Colts games regularly?
I'm just new to Chicago and was curious as to where I could watch the Colts games in a Colts-fan friendly environment. The last thing I want is to watch the opening game in a pro-Bears environment if you know what I mean.
If anyone can be of any help, that would be appreciated.

Mullen's
Mullen’s on Clark. It always has Colts fans… Right by Wrigley. Take the Red Line to the Addison stop and walk a little over a block to Clark.

It’s also where I went to celebrate after the Super Bowl.

Trinity
Mullen’s is probably the closest thing to a “Colts” bar you’ll find. You can try the Trinity Bar at 2721 N. Halsted. They have a ton of screens, the NFL ticket, and will generally put on whatever you want. The good thing about this place is that it has a more calm pub/tavern feel and not the token douchebaggery of more explicit sports bars. They also have good beer specials and relatively cheap food.
I live in Logan Square and I can tell you that there ain’t much out here. You can always hit up www.yelp.com/chicago and search for sports bars. That’ll give you a nice look at whatever is in your area. Virtually every sports bar in Chicago will have the Sunday ticket. Also, grab a copy of the Chicago Reader and the Red Eye before football season starts. Both papers will have a long, nearly exhaustive list of every bar that has the NFL Sunday ticket, what their brunch/food/beer specials are for football weekends, and if they have a team affiliation.
Enjoy watchng the Colts in Bears-ville (although there are tons of Steelers fans and Steelers bars here). It’s been great, but I’m headed to Ohio where I will have to listen to Bengals and Browns fans complain about their teams not making the playoffs.

Mullens!
Nice. I am also an Indy native living in Chicago. Mullens is definitely the place to go for Colts games. The owner is really cool and the place is always packed with Colts fans in jerseys for the games. The TVs arent the best, but the owner is nice and the food is decent. $4 burger and fries along with $2 beers! You will always have the token guy in the bar rooting for the other team, just because he hates the Colts. But that is expected.
tenyardfight and levante, where do you guys live? I am in Roscoe Village near Damen/Roscoe.

I'm at
Buena Park. Belle Plaine and Sheridan to be exact.
I used to live in Roscoe Village at the northwest corner of Damen and School. Love that neighborhood.
Your initials aren’t CN are they?

Mullen's has new TVs!
Just wanted to give you an update…Mullen’s just got everything switched over to HD (including the big screen projectors inside and on the patio). And we replaced the main big screen TV located above the center bar. That should help your Colts viewing experience. And as for Colts fans, I’d say about 90% all have jerseys. It’s a sea of blue. Gotta love it!

Nice! I had been looking for a good place to watch Colts games. Anyone want to do a Stampede Blue kickoff party for us Chicagoans?

Thank you for the compliment. I genuinely enjoy hearing how much people like it, so it’s good to hear. Any favorites? Any requests? I’ve been a bit short on ideas lately, so I’ll take whatever inspiration I can get.

I have a request.
I cannot find one. But I would love to have a Andy Warhol/Marilyn Monroe style of painting with Peyton Manning instead. I’m sure it’s just a matter of getting a picture and changing the colors but I am illiterate mostly when it comes to computers. This would be awesome.

Are we talking Cream of Manning? Peyton-O’s? Manning & Stars? Manning Noodle Soup? Manning Wedding Soup? Gazpeytoncho?
Seriously, I can do this all day. :)

Official Colts Bar in Chicago - Mullens in Wrigleyville
Mullens is 100% the one and only Official Colts Bar in Chicago. You can trust me on this one as I’ve been building the crowd for over 4-5 years now. We’ve got great fans, great food and drink specials, and plenty of seating. We now open the upstairs and the patio for additional seating & viewing due to the amazing turnout. We do sponsor an AFC team (Colts) and an NFC (Bears) team. However, in the case of a conflict, we default to the Colts ALWAYS. The Colts are played on the big screens with audio no matter what. Curious? Stop in and try us out.
Go Colts!
