Let the countdown to Vince Young's retirement begin.
Sorry but this is one of the most hilarious things I've ever read:

I don't really have much else to say other than VY needs to grow a pair and take it like a man. That or just do the rest of us a favor and retire already.

her 'baby' boy indeed
Sad when it is mommy talking to the press. Baby is the word for it. For the money he makes suck it up and take the boos..
I’d gladly take the abuse to make the money he does.. What did he think the NFL would be like?

How about this:
The Titans can pay me $250,000 a year, and I’ll stand behind their offensive line, throw interceptions, and get sacked and tackled for a loss.
At that rate, I’d be a comparative bargain.
Bob Sanders eats a forest on Friday so he can lay the wood on Sunday.

Can't do it
They’d have to play you at least 295K that’s the rookie minimum

Let's see...
"What would you think, if you were tired of being ridiculed and persecuted and talked about and not being treated very well, what would you do?
I remember just last season Eli walking out on his home field and getting booed (think that’s been going on for a while). And I also remember after the Pittsburgh Tragedy of 2005, Peyton took quite a bit of heat from Colts fans…
There is only one word that comes to mind when I think of Vince….and I can’t post it.

I think it's kinda sad
That we still treat physical injuries as a tragedy, but somehow think mental injuries are a character flaw. Vince Young’s problems might not have arisen in the same way as Tom Brady’s, but they’re no less his fault than Brady’s are. Yet whilst Brady gets endless sympathy, Young is mercilessly mocked.
If people are concerned for his safety – no matter how seriously – he has a serious, genuine mental health problem. And for that he deserves, if not sympathy, at least a little space and time to deal with it.

Are you a shrink?
I’m sorry I didn’t see your credentials. If you want to prove that VY has a true mental health problem, then put the proof right here. If not, then admit that he is just a punk and he is not tough enough to handle the NFL. I think it is sad that we too often try to find something else to blame but the person doing something wrong. Well guess what, people have choices to make, including how to handle the issues they are dealing with. Vince Young is not handling it well at all.

He Doesn't Have Some Mental Health Problem
He is too easily swayed by public opinion. That’s not a mental health problem. That’s just being emotionally fragile.

I suppose...
Jeff Fisher called the cops because he was just bored and throught it would be cool to send them chasing after his QB, you know, for kicks.
People don’t get concerned for the safety of people who are just easily swayed by public opinion.
This glee at a kid having his life on the rocks sickens me, frankly.

Yeah well I have to work a 9-5 job to support myself and my girlfriend while he is getting paid millions of dollars to play a sport. So excuse me for not feeling any sympathy for a guy who could retire tomorrow and have him and his entire family set for life.
We Colts fans did not pay $720 million dollars in public funds to build a brand new stadium that will get opened on Sunday Night Football by Jim Friggin Sorgi.

He is acting like a spoiled, rotten 2 year old
When he doesn’t get constant approval, he can’t stand it and throws tantrums. He was a big fish at Texas and he isn’t now. He has the attitude of “don’t you know who I (think I) am?”

I’ll gladly take his salary and deal with people booing me.
I think VY should just retire since it is clear he doesn’t have the true desire or mental toughness to play the game. I do not think he is a bay or any of that crap. He simply isn’t cut out to be a pro athlete and he should leave now before he possibly does something truly harmful to himself because as stated, he seems like has some mental issue and unlike some, I would not mock him for that because it seems obvious he didn’t choose to have it.
